Grand Regency Retreat

We had 5 adults and 2 dogs in town for a long weekend and this house was great for our stay! Close to the lake, to hiking trails, to Truckee, and more. The big open living and dining space was great for hanging out as a group! The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable!

This home near the North shore of Lake Tahoe was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable for our family and family friends. Fully equipped kitchen made cooking at home super easy. Comfortable beds and bedding, plenty of towels, great water pressure in the showers. The wifi worked great which was a blessing because we had zero cell service anywhere in that area. Very easy check-in and check-out procedures. We would certainly stay here again! Thanks for everything!

My family enjoyed the nice cozy cabin and having it near so many things to do was a huge plus.

This property exceeded our expectations. The location was new to us & so perfect. Quiet lovely neighborhood, roads were cleared & streets walkable. Our 3 generations had fun each day just playing in the yard but there was a big State Park nearby that had many snow play areas & wasn’t even crowded for a holiday week. The house was very comfortable with a fully stocked huge kitchen & two beautiful full baths. Our little dog was very happy to be able to spend a great week with the grandkids! Memories were made! We will be back!

Clean and cozy. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and bedding. Propane bbq off kitchen. Priced fair. Not having a garage in the snow made it difficult to unload cars and groceries, as there were a full flight of stairs to climb but overall a nice place.

This was a cozy cabin that felt like we were a world away. We spent a great weekend with family making memories.

It was more than enough space for myself, husband, toddler, baby and two dogs. Everything in the home was functional. Something to note is that you will unlikely have cell phone service in the area. I felt a little nervous walking the dogs after dark due to this. Front yard hadn’t been cleaned up by last visitors so I didn’t use it as much as I’d like. I even contacted rental agency and someone came to clean up, but missed a couple. I found a pubic hair on a bath mat. When I inquired about whether bath mats are cleaned, my question was not answered. At the end of the visit, they ask you to strip sheets off beds and gather towels. I don’t think this is a good practice, as some objects may be missed ie: bath mats.

Stayed at this property for 3 nights this past labor day weekend. Overall stay was good, took away one star since there were issues with the main bathroom toilet and internet. Photos make it seem as if there is a big backyard for the pet, but there is just a small deck. None of them were too big of a deal and we still had a good time. Property manager was prompt in responding. Well stocked kitchen.

We had a little trouble with the place we rented upon check in, but the host took great care of us and quickly remedied the situation. Would book again with this company!

We had a nice stay in Tahoe .. it was warm, the fans were an absolute necessity … maybe on more small powerful one would be good. Couple of things: Warn people that cell coverage is very spotty near house, so download instructions and the code before you get off the highway. Screens are a bit spotty .. and why no furniture on the deck? All the comfy looking pieces in the backyard?

The property was nice but the screen door was broken and the person before us had that issue and hoped it was fixed for the next quests and it was not. I did get a call to tell me they were working on the internet- we didn’t have an issue. I called and they told me they would send someone out which they did not. They was no soap, shampoo etc which would have been nice.

The house was perfect for our family of four - it's located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The home is well stocked and the bedding is very comfortable. The only minor issues we noticed were cobwebs all throughout the house and the patio furniture shown in the pictures was haphazardly piled in the backyard, making it unusable. But as I mentioned, all minor things. I notified the rental agency about the cobwebs in the corners, bedrooms, kitchen, etc so they will likely be addressed in the future. Overall, great house!

Great property at a great location that was 10 minutes away from Kings beach and Northstar. The property has no A/C, which was manageable, but wish this was brought to our attention sooner. Other than that, would highly recommend this property!
