Grand Chalet w/ Hot Tub - Near Wintergreen Resort

House was fantastic, all areas were updated and in general the finishes and style were beautiful. The layout worked well for the 9 of us. Furniture, electronics (tvs, speakers) were new and well taken care of. Hot tub was perfect after skiing for the day. Super close to the resort without being on the resort. Best of all was the view down the valley, we even walked down to the waterfall which was less than 1/2 mile hike from the house. Definitely will be staying here again on our next visit to Wintergreen.

The property was definitively the nicest we’ve stayed at in Wintergreen, and came with all the necessary amenities as advertised. The way the house was stocked with all the small items that you need, but don’t want to have to bring, made it truly plug & play and the furnishings were all top notch. Ample room in the house for 6 children and 4 adults without feeling cramped / on top of each other with the multiple living room options. With a drive to the main lodge of 10 minutes, it’s hard to beat the combination of location and amenities offered. We would highly recommend others experiencing the Grand Chalet – we’re confident you won’t be disappointed.

This VRBO house has wonderful mountain views, is very clean, and has wellstocked kitchen and baths. Our family (of 11 people - 6 adults and 5 kids) had a great holiday weekend! Just a few words of warning - there are a lot of steps with this rental. Steps from the driveway up to the 1st floor of the house and then interior steps from 1st floor to the main level - with kitchen, great room, master bedroom, etc. Also, while the house has 3 full baths, two are located on the main level. We had 9 people (3 bedrooms down there - a K / 2 Qs/ 4 Bunk beds - on the 1st floor with only the one bath on this level. Up / Down stairs to use the 2nd bathroom. With all that said, we were very pleased overall with the house.

We stayed in this home for 6 nights the week after Christmas. The house had everything we needed and we were very impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked. We had a great stay and would rent again on our next stay in Wintergreen.

This house was absolutely incredible! Everything is beautiful and the view is unreal. Bill is the best host I’ve ever had through all of the houses I’ve stayed at. We will definitely be back.

Do not hesitate...book this rental now! The home, the decor, and every single detail that you could imagine has been thought of in this home. I booked with this home for myself and 5 girlfriends for a little fall getaway. The bedding and pillows are luxurious and the bathrooms are perfect size. The master has a steam shower that was a true luxury! There were extra towels, blankets, toiletries and even all of the spices and condiments you need for the entire stay. It is those little things that go a long way in a rental. You really just need your clothes and you are all set!The host was very repsonsive and provided all the information well in advance. We wil definitley book again when coming back to the area.
