Granbury Home w/ Waterfront Deck: 5 Mi to Downtown

The house was perfect for a family weekend getaway! We enjoyed all of the amenities; kayaking, paddle boards, swimming and a backyard fire pit. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean and ready to go.

My husband, daughter and I stayed over Father's Day weekend with my in-laws and everything was great. They were able to fish right off the dock in the back yard. We grilled, played games, my loved running around in the back yard. The homeowner was extremely responsive to questions and very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for a little or extended getaway! The house was so comfortable and definitely plan on coming back! Great for families or friends looking for a relaxing and fun vacation!

This is a charming well maintained house on the lake. We enjoyed making meals in the well equipped kitchen and bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. Also within driving distance of the square and other local attractions. Also has a nice dock and seating area near the lake. We didn't use it a lot because I am a mosquito magnet. Owner also let us check in early and check out late. Also had an a abundance of various pool floats available for use. The main reason why we rented this place though is it came with kayaks and was right on the lake . Kayaks first must be carried down some steep steps. Unfortunately we couldn't figure out how to easily get the kayaks in and out of the water or even get ourselves in and out of them without falling in the water or risking hurting ourselves and possibly damaging the kayaks. This was because the water level was well below dock level and the dock did not have anyway to secure the kayaks to the dock along with us not being experienced in dealing with this type of situation. So we had to rent a kayak instead and have it dropped off at a boat launch. There is also a rooster next door which enjoys waking everyone up starting at 5:30 in the morning and continues his calls throughout the morning! We understand the home owner has no control over this but it did effect our overall experience. Not very relaxing and he was very loud!

This was the perfect home away from home for our family to enjoy some fun at the lake! Walking in, we felt like we were stepping into a friend's house because of the welcoming vibes this rental gives! Everything was super clean, there's a fully stocked kitchen, cozy living room with gorgeous stone fireplace, lots of lighting, a guitar for playing, and board games for some laughter and friendly competition. The host even had phone chargers available throughout the home for us to use. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfy to crawl into after days full of fun-we slept GREAT! They also had box fans in each room for extra convenience. In the bathroom, the host provided more than enough towels for both showers and our lake day adventures. And I HAVE to mention the great AC because being from Texas...we KNOW how important that is in this heat! We had so much fun in the outdoors with PLENTY of water toys for everyone to use, a beautiful deck to relax on in the private cove (ideal for using the kayaks and paddle boards or just floating in the water), a fire pit for roasting s'mores, a hammock to settle into with a good book, and porch swings to enjoy a morning cup of coffee....We took advantage of all the perks this property had to offer...even brought our poles for some fishing! The host was super responsive and very kind. They have thought of everything to make their guests feel right at home! I highly recommend booking this rental for your next trip

It was a wonderful property that had so many great amenities right on the water. They even had toothbrush and toothpaste travel kits in the bathroom in case you forgot yours. The host were so nice and overall it was an amazing experience

This was the perfect get-away for our family and friends.We loved the log cabin. It had every convenience we wanted and was well decorated. The large trees and being close to the waterfront made sitting on the deck & playing in the water very enjoyable for all of us.It’s also minutes away from old Granbury where we found good restaurants and shopping.All in all, this place does not disappoint. We will definitely plan on booking again!

This was a perfect place to connect with our kids for a Father's day weekend. I wanted to cook and the kitchen had everything and more I needed. We loved the decor, the comfort and thought out details of this lakehouse. We had a fun time playing games inside and going outside to enjoy the beautiful backyard and lake. Our girls used the kayaks for hours. We also had s'mores at their fire pit. Our special needs son spent much of his time on the porch swing or back yard swing. And he loved that it was shady. We will definitely come back again.
