Graceland: 4th of July week now available as a Friday or Saturday check in!

We have been visiting CSB for about 25 years and this was our first time in this house.. We’ve stayed in some really wonderful homes, but this may be our favorite. Clearly newly renovated, the decor is lovely. It’s spacious and accommodated our large group quite well. The kitchen is well appointed, but the best part of the house is the view from the very large back porch! We will be back!!

Despite VRBO stating that they expected their properties to provide refunds as a result of hurricane Helene mandatory evacuations, Cape & Coast refused. Thankfully, I did purchase trip insurance, but I'm sure that those who did not will just be out of luck. Also, upon arrival at 7 pm, there was a gate and no one provided us with the gate code. Hungry, tired, trying to find someone who could let us in. Otherwise a nice (abbreviated) stay.

The house was wonderful. It was near perfect upon arrival. We had no negative issues during the stay other than Tropical Storm Nicole. It was still a wonderful stay and really look forward to returning. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this property.

What a dream GraceLand is!! The house, the views, the sunsets, the beautiful beach….I felt like we were in a dream!! Our family had the best time and we cannot wait to make many more memories at Graceland!

House is beautiful, perfect for us! Elevator was a plus! We all enjoyed the screened in porch and the beds are so comfortable! Appliances top notch and the sunsets are breathtaking! We are already looking at dates for a 2 week stay next year!

The beautiful home is the perfect location—last home on the beach before the State Park. It was spacious, gorgeously decorated, with comfy beds and pillows, a screen porch area that we lived in when weather allowed, and an inside open living space for cooking and playing board games that kept our family connected. The beach was not crowded, the white sand and colorful sunsets capped off just what this Midwest family needed from our vacation! I already miss the lapping of those gulf waves! Would definitely stay here again!

The house was better than advertised. The $250 equipment allowance was great. Equipment was waiting on us upon arrival. The house was very clean. Access to beach was perfect. Can’t say enough positive things about the property or rental process. Loved the technical aspects of the home. Figured out the TVs and remotes pretty quickly. The solar system demonstrates the owners commitment to the environment and the “Cape”. Have already booked for next year. Thank you so much for the use of your wonderful home.

Reviewer Comments: The home was nicely done by the owners.Despite what I’m writing below, would I stay here again...ABSOLUTELY!!The things below are just to help the owners correct some minor things that would make this place flawless!!Being the last house on the cape gave some incredible privacy and allowed us to enjoy our own little part of the cape all to ourselves!!If I had to critique anything...the kitchen was kind of under stocked. We only had 6 people stay and cups/plates ran out throughout the day.The built in ice maker was inoperable.The TV’s throughout the house were inconsistent with which apps and which programs were logged in to utilize.Not once throughout the week did the neighborhood gate work when exiting. We had to get out and walk around to the entrance side to put in the code (not the houses fault, but annoying)There was no welcome guide to the home with passwords and how-to’s for the home.The hot water takes a literal 5 mins to reach the master bath. (And this was with both sinks, and the shower running trying to speed up the process)The skim board at the house was rotten and wood flaking off of it, making it unusable.THERES NO BEACH CHAIRS OR UMBRELLA! (This one shocked me as I expect a rental of this caliber to have its own chairs for the property.)The cushions for the porch were nasty with stains all over them. Very unsettling.

We were disappointed the elevator and large ice maker were not in service. But it did not detract from the trip. Was best vacation we’ve had in several summers.

We loved the location, as we enjoyed both the ocean and the bay (which is an easy walk away and feels like you are in the Bahamas! Plan to spend one day on the bay-beach! We loved the kitchen and gas stove, as we cooked together most evenings (there's a great little seafood market just down the road.) We loved the utility room next to the kitchen, the ice maker, the wine cooler and the extra space...especailly since we brought tons of groceries! The only issue was the wasn't removed from the previous guests and got stinky during the week. And, don't expect to use the didn't work all week. Other than those two things...this was the perfect house and the perfect week.
