House was perfect for a long weekend family of 4. The bed was so comfy! I’d love to know what mattress is on the master bed! Great location to Hawksnest and Beech!

The house was a wonderful place to host Thanksgiving dinner. It was close to family and both the inside and out provided lots of space to hang out. The host was responsive to our questions. I am looking forward to staying there again!

Was very comfortable and good for relaxing even if you didn't want to go out that day. Outdoor seating on porch and gazebo and plenty of grounds to explore.

The house was perfect for us — an excellent location, very clean, and beautifully maintained. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were high quality. The property itself is gorgeous, and being able to bring our three dogs was a major reason we chose it and would love to return. The only downside was the road noise. Early Friday morning, we heard trucks, likely due to ongoing construction after the recent storm, and there was regular traffic noise throughout the weekend. While understandable, it does take away from the serene, quiet atmosphere you might expect. That would be the only reason I might hesitate to book again. The bathrooms are clean but could use some touch up maintenance.

The place was very clean. Somewhat small. Oven door was broke. We had major difficulty getting in and out. The drive way was very flood damaged and we were not made aware of it. My granddaughter tore her oil pan completely loose, had to have her car towed and it was declared totaled. We received no assistance from the owners.

My husband and I spent 5 days to take advantage of the fresh snow. Brought our pup who absolutely had the best time in the hige yard. Met a neighbors cat and saw deer right out front. House stays really warm. Very comfortable.

We really enjoyed the home! Very clean, comfortable and well stocked. We booked thinking we’d bring our dogs but ended up not. They would have loved the property. Quite cold while we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside areas, but would have loved to sit out back and listen to the creek!

We were all settled in (after a couple hiccups) and ready to enjoy our week when Helene high jacked our getaway. We were watching the river rise from the windows and knew the worst was yet to come, so we made the decision to cut our stay short. Turns out, this was the best decision in terms of being able to get back home safely. Would love to go back again. The host for this property was amazing and easy to communicate with on our little hiccups.

We had a great time socializing by the incredible babbling creek. Lots of space and nice property. The only thing is the wood rockers in the gazebo smelled really bad from mold and mildew. We moved them out of the gazebo.

The house is very comfortable and well stocked. The setting is amazing. It is beautifully landscaped and the sound of the river in front and from the Gazebo in back is the most relaxing, peaceful place I’ve ever felt in our beautiful North Carolina mountains. We have already booked it for the fall.
