GorgeousNew! Seagove, steps, to beach sleeps 16, pool, sauna, entertainmnt deck

We have rented many properties over the years in Seagrove. The pictures online for this house were amazing. We feel like the house, of course has aged. Not current. We had a few problems and got quick response from management. As always the pool pictures are very deceptive. The pool here is more like a hot tub. In fact, we had to get management to turn it down because it was so hot. Mind you we had already been paying for the pool to be heated. We were very disappointed in the grill. It was very dirty. And it had not been cleaned in a very long time. My husband wouldn’t grill on it because he said it would just be rusted. We liked the upstairs area outside, but the cushions were less than desired for the outside couch. We had a very hard time regulating the temperature from each floor. I know they mentioned something about beach towels being included, but felt like the towels that were supposed to be for the beach were more like bath towels. We had to buy beach towels. There were four foldable beach chairs beside the house, but they were very rusty and were not able to be used. The location of the house was by far the best feature.

Aliene should be a super host if she’s not already. She was extremely responsive. Her gorgeous property is very close to the beach. Bikes and beach chairs were provided along with nice, fluffy beach towels. IMHO this is the best time of the year to visit the beach. The water was crystal clear if a tad chilly. We taught the kids to play ping pong and worked the “rock n roll” puzzle in the rec room. My dad started on the Harlan Coben novel that was on the coffee table. No stairs for the parents (ages 88 and 91) to their master suite. Three really nice and comfortable bedrooms upstairs and six bunks with very comfortable mattresses. The kids (& adults) also loved the swinging chair and front porch swing. Two refrigerators and two ice makers made our thanksgiving gathering a breeze. We walked to Seaside the next day for the farmer’s market and some light shopping. Also important! In a place where land is a premium, there was plenty of parking. We were able to park all 7 vehicles comfortably. And lastly, we only had to remove our trash to the outside bin and our personal items when we were ready to check out.
