The house was beautiful and comfortable. Everything you need is there. The owner communicated wonderfully with us. Close to the beach. Golf cart was fast! We booked last minute and they accommodated us and made us feel welcome. Plenty of towels, beach and bathroom towels. We would stay again for sure!!

Did not have a good experience. Interior is nice though. Be sure to receive all information pertaining to golf cart in working order (back up, if not). Would never charge since we arrived. Use of amenities (host does not have club membership), so you are only able to use the public pool and hot tub, and the working condition of television (outside). You will not be able to sit outside at ground level. Tremendous amount of mosquitos, even with mosquito repellent. Also, we were not assisted on departure day, even after messaging management and host. They were aware of the time we were scheduled to take the ferry. There were 9 of us and we had to make 2 trips with luggage. Almost missed the ferry. The bedding and furniture were nice. Refrigerator takes at least 12 hours to get cold. We were told by management to put in freezer until then. This was only after I contacted them and food was getting warm. I will definitely be visiting the island again because we love it there, but not here.

Turtle Nest did not disappoint. Home was bigger and better that the pictures!! 😊 Kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, TV was super easy to use and we had no internet issues. Beach is really close and we walked back and forth several times. Location of the house is perfect and close to Barnacles and Mangos which we visited while we were there. Taylor, the owner was amazing and resolved any issues we had immediately! Tortuga Properties was also easy to contact, and extremely pleasant to work with! A terrific stay was had by all and we are already planning for next year!! Thank you Taylor for sharing your beach house with us.. we loved it!!

Our second trip to North Captiva did not disappoint! The Turtle Nest is located walking distance to the beach (or you can take the golf cart and park it and the end of the road.) Also close to Mainstay and Barnacle's in case you're looking for a Captiva Breeze or ice cream. The house had everything we needed for our stay and was the perfect size for our group (3 adults and 3 kids). The WIFI and cell service is spotty but who needs contact with the mainland when you're in paradise?! Will be back again soon!

Great house! Don’t pass it up. Lots of room, easy place to relax, very short walk to the beach. We got lucky and had the owner’s golf cart for our stay due to the other one being in the shop (some reviews said the golf cart was not in good shape, so worried about that). Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Beds are comfortable, lots of towels, pillows and beach towels. Some things need updating but wasn’t a reason to not go back. Only complaint was the wifi was not good or reliable at all, and we were unable to use the tv for that reason also (wanted to watch a movie one night). There are tons of dvds there but all kids movies. Thanks for having us!

We rented 3 houses on north captiva for some family and friends to stay in for a wedding. The house was okay, the beds were large and comfortable, but the rooms are small. The house could do with some care. Yard had debris laying in it . The crows nest is very sketchy and dangerous. The Tortuga management are very attentive and when we had a dead golf cart they came right away to fix it. Good house, just needs some help

Communication was great! We loved the property. Highly recommend having Chef Bo come over and cook while you are there! Great family stay!
