We had a great stay. The house has lots of character. We enjoyed the history of the property. The kids loved the pool. The house was supplied with everything we needed. We had one issue and the owner addressed it quickly.

We enjoyed our trip to Hannibal and our stay in the Historic Eleanor Davis Home. The accommodations were nice and very comfortable. The wood work in this home is beautiful.

Enjoyed the house, the location of the house, and the beauty of the renovation done to the house! Rooms were decorated very nice! Beds were very nice! plenty of hot water and the pressure (being a historic house) was very good! Peaceful place to stay but very close to any exceitment that one might want to explore! The owner was easy to reach and very qiuck to responed to our questions. A must stay place!

We stayed in Hannibal for a weekend as a troop. We were able to do fun and educational activities, and this house was perfect for our small troop. We were able to stay together, cook together, watch movies, and the girls loved being able to hang out in the pool!

Perfect location close to attractions and restaurants. Very hilly area so not really walkable (especially for seniors) but the parking downtown was not a problem. The neighborhood was quiet at night and we enjoyed the deck. We also enjoyed the sunroom with morning coffee. Comfortable beds made for a good night sleep. The beautiful historic home was fun to see and learn about. We enjoyed the delicious pizza from Brick Oven and the catfish basket from Finns was wonderful.

My husband and our 2 dogs had a great time. We only stayed 2 nights, wish we could have stayed longer. I especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch, watching the rain pour down, and not getting a drop on me. The back deck and yard were also very enjoyable (no swimming for us, though). The woodwork and original elements are very special, and I feel lucky to have been able to experience them. Wonderful hosts also, very accommodating. I can think of nothing they could improve on.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully restored home. While the house has all the modern conveniences, it maintains the look and feel of the 1800s - and the old-style plumbing fixtures are super cool! The hosts really go the extra mile with thoughtful touches - historic books, quirky games, and even kitchen staples. Convenient walking distance to tourist destinations, too. Highly recommended!
