Beautiful, secluded and truly remote, redwood lined Treehouse atop a hill with unbelivable spectacular views even from the master shower! It is comfortable for any type of visitor to the Monterey Peninsula - 2 families or group of friends stay comfortably.

The master bed has en-suite bathroom & is separated from 3 other bedrooms & 2 other bathrooms by a large living room. The house is quiet & relaxing and has great energy as it is surrounded by nature. It's cozy in the winter with its wood burning stove and gas fireplace & fun in summer with a sun-scaped deck to hang out on warm summer nights! In the cozy winter season, we have fire roaring in the woodburning stove for you upon your arrival!

This property has over 350 five star reviews on the other major site.

There is a large deck off the living room with a fancy fire pit and stand up handmade wood bar next to a gas bbq. There are darts for your amusement and a gas firepit to hang out and drink wine or have coffee near. Heat lamps are available on the deck for any chilly nights.

Big screen TV is located in one of the living rooms with a wood burning stove and an uber comfy couch. The drawers under the TV are STOCKED FULL of DVDs and there are retro Atari and Space Invaders gaming systems! Old School! We even just recently upgraded to Starlink Satellite so the internet is lightning fast.

In the second living room is another large comfy couch and a gas fireplace for ambiance with more spectacular valley views. The master has an en-suite with dual shower heads - and yes a view from the shower - and a door out to the deck. The back three bedrooms are spacious and well appointed with views and two of the rooms have access to a private deck. The yellow room - as we call it - is full of board games for any player. Two of the three bathrooms are newly remodeled and the other has a tub for a soak. Bathrooms are all stocked for your needs with cotton balls, Q-tips, towels, shampoo, lotion, face wipes, etc. All beds have down comforters, electric blankets, and comfy mattresses. The comforter covers are all Belgian flax linen to make you feel well taken care of and special.

The kitchen is stocked with all you need - all the dishes, pots and pans, wine glasses, double oven, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, french press, blender, tea kettle....and a little extra like tea, coffee, popcorn, condiments and spices. There is even a fully charged boom so you can play your tunes!

Out back is a smoker and charcoal BBQ with benches and camping chairs for marsh-mellow roasting. Many reports of a deer family that wanders the property to further entertain and our lone Ferrel kitty may come say hello.

Like to hike You can hike up the hill right out of your driveway or head down the hill into the park for a hike to the waterfall trail as this property borders Garland Park in Carmel Valley. When the rain is flowing, so is the waterfall! Spectacular!

In Carmel Valley Village, which is a 7 min down the hill from the house or 2.5 mile walk, are many restaurants and wine tasting rooms. You can park and walk from one end to the other or end up at a kid friendly park. We have a sushi restaurant in town that just knocks it out of the park or Plaza Linda for excellent Mexican food. There is even Thai food that will wow you for sure. If you just want standard American fare, try Trailside. The Running Iron is our local bar with good burgers. Have time to fancy it up About 10 minutes away is Bernardus Lodge which has some of the best mixologists on the entire peninsula. And peppered everywhere in Carmel Valley village are tons of wine tasting rooms.

This house is in Carmel Valley. Of course you are 20 minutes from Carmel by the sea, 25 to Monterey and the same to pebble beach. If you want a spectacular hour drive along breathtaking hwy 1, head to Big Sur.

We take great pride in making you feel welcome and ensure you have what you need. We truly welcome you to our home and hope that you enjoy making memories there. We are available during your stay if you need anything - just a message or call away.

**This house is not a typical city house where you can walk to 711 or order uber eats or set the heater to 80 degrees 24 hours a day. Instead, its a cozy woodburning cabin with baskets of DVDs, comfortable couches, and a closet full of board games with views to die for. This is a place to make and enjoy amazing home cooked meals and memories with loved ones. You will enjoy the home if its right for you. Main heater source is the woodburning stove (wood provided) with heater as a backup and to takeoff the edge while the stove does it’s magic. In the summer, its shorts on the deck with wine time! There are no curtains so unless you want to wake up with the sun use one of the sleep eye covers provided. Time to unplug and relax!

Firm rule: 7 people max. There are beds for only 7 and sleeping on the couch is not allowed. Absolutely no pets. If you have a service animal the deposit is $3000 as that is what it will take to refinish the hardwood floors after claw scratches.

Owner will be on property as required by Monterey county. Please call for details. 831xxx917yyy3835…

This is a gem. Having stayed in a fair amount of mountain homes, this one is exceptional. Views to die for, rooms situated to provide the greatest effect, tastefully appointed, and remote. Private. Such a cool place — we loved it! Thank you!

If you’re looking for a quiet and secluded getaway with gorgeous mountain views, this is the place for you. We saw several deer and turkeys in the woods surrounding the house. Although it’s secluded, it’s an easy drive to Carmel and Big Sur. It’s a great mix of rustic charm and elegance. We enjoyed the fire pit on the deck while soaking in the views every evening.

The location was quiet and secluded, which was great. We were three couples, and having three full bathrooms was very convenient. Communication with the owner was quick and easy, and they kindly explained how to use everything in the house, so there were no inconveniences. The view from the house was also really nice, and the amenities were well-equipped.

The house had everything we needed in terms of amenities. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in! Outdoor space was fabulous and had gas for the heat lamp, grill, and cushions for the furniture.

This home was *so* beautiful. Plenty of space for a large group (we had 7 adults), and the hosts were welcoming, communicative, and responsive! The views are SO GOOD and I particularly enjoyed sitting by the large windows and basking in the sunshine like a cat.

Ok first off, let me just say if you do not like far drives, being far away from everyone, or if you get freaked out by noises easily, you probably shouldn’t stay here lol. The drive up was kind of intense the first time only because we weren’t sure if it was the right way, but my gps took us to the exact address and Tracy did a great job sending directions as well. (Also glad we brought our lifted 4Runner because of the road) Once we reached our destination, we were all in awe. It was so beautiful. Yes, the place needs a few minor updates on some things like sockets and window screens, but other than that, everything was great. We didn’t get to enjoy the deck since we had wedding stuff to take care of, but we had a beautiful view from there. The master suite was our favorite for sure. Waking up to that view every morning was breathtaking and not to mention, the SHOWER! Absolutely stunning! And you guys, just remember you are staying in a tree house and yes there is wildlife and there are spiders. You’re literally in their home! We did get woken up a few times by squirrels and woodpeckers hahah, but heck. It was our wedding week and who sleeps anyway! Check-in and check-out was super easy. Tracy stayed in touch the entire stay which was nice. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back. I didn’t take too many photos, but everything on the site is still pretty accurate!

This place was beyond beautiful with its location in the sky. A view out every window with spacious bedrooms and multiple baths. The deck is large and in great condition as we spent a lot of time enjoying the birds, turkeys and other wildlife. We would all recommend the place for another stay!

Location was perfect for our family. We were unlucky with the weather so we really appreciated the wide variety of board games and plenty of firewood. Morning times we were treated to deer, wild turkeys and even a woodpecker as we enjoyed our coffee. We had a cosy stay

This rental is perfect for a family or 3 couples. Plenty of room, large kitchen, big dining room table…all the amenities. All pics on listing are exactly what you’ll find. A steep, winding road up but well worth the trip..quiet, secluded and great sunrises and sunsets from trail behind property.

An adventure driving up the road to the property, but worth the trip. As advertised, great view. Home extremely well equipped. Would e Be good to note spices, coffee and more will be in the house. Only issue we had was some electrical. Couldn’t figure out how/where to turn on some lights and at least one outlet in back bedroom did’t work. All minor items when considering a great stay.
