This place is absolutely like a little piece of heaven right here on earth. From the moment I made the reservation until the day we checked out to come back home, everything was perfect. The house is absolutely gorgeous. It was immaculate, well stocked, and so, so comfortable. Our hosts made sure we had all the information we needed before we reached the property and Mindy even had fresh baked cookies on the dining room table for us. It was such a sweet thing to do. Not only was the house everything I could have asked for, the views surrounding the house were breathtaking. Watching the sun set behind the mountains was our favorite part of each day. I highly recommend The Ott House and I will definitely be staying here again if I come back to the Hot Springs area.

The Ott House exceeded our expectations in every way! The home is very clean, the views are fantastic, and the location is 10-15 minutes away from the cities main attractions. Would highly recommend staying here for your Hot Springs trip.

This was our 4th year in a row to stay here and go Jeepn at Hot Springs off-road park. The house is 10 minutes away, which is a big plus for us. The property is very private, house is exceptionally clean, it looks like no one has stayed there since our last time to visit. The kitchen is very clean, drawers are organized and has everything you'll need to cook your meals. The only thing is, if you have a long car trailer it's sorta hard to maneuver up driveway and thru gate. However, with the house so close to park, it's convenient to park trailer there. The house and property were absolutely perfect for a weeklong anniversary trip. We felt right at home and were just a short drive from everything. We are already trying to find an open weekend to come back!

Our family had such an incredible time staying at this property! The home and property are even more beautiful in person, and it is so well stocked, you feel like you are at home. It is very obvious the host put a lot of care into maintaining the home and communication with them was a breeze. The location of the home is just a quick drive away from downtown Hot Springs, and there are so many beautiful trails and other activities just a short distance away from the home. While we enjoyed many activities out and about, we equally enjoyed our time at the property. The indoor and outdoor spaces are all very relaxing and comfortable, and our very energetic son particularly enjoyed playing in the expansive yard. The property is wonderful - you are missing out if you don't stay there for your visit to the Hot Springs area!

Fantastic stay. The property is large and spacious, the house was absolutely immaculate, and the view is beautiful. The owners were very accommodating and easy to communicate with, and everything about the stay was smooth and easy. It’s clear they take great pride in the property. The house was wonderful and honestly had the best view of our whole trip - right from the front door! Perfectly clean, dog-friendly, and delicious welcome cookies upon arrival. All in all a fantastic spot - would recommend!

This is our second stay in this beautiful home. Everything was immaculately clean. The views of the surrounding tree covered hills is stunning. When you stand outside, all you can hear is the breeze and the tinkle of a little brook in the woods behind the house. We used both the outside fire pit for a fun smoore-filled evening, and the fireplace inside on the colder nights. We were thankful for the laundry machine after our crystal mining trip. The small touches from fresh cookies and snacks, to plenty of TP and extra blankets are much noticed and appreciated. Only a short jaunt to downtown, it’s way worth driving out a bit so our kids could play outside, and push each other on the big swing. We absolutely loved our stay, and are contemplating our next visit!

Loved our stay here. Only problem was the kids wanted to stay at the house instead of sightseeing in town. The property exceeded our expectations with beautiful views and thoughtful touches throughout. If we are ever in this area again we will definitely stay here. Thank you!

We had a great stay! The home is beautiful and has a gorgeous view. It was clean and spacious enough for our family of 7. The owners provided all the necessities and the kids loved getting cookies as a surprise during our late night check-in. The home was close enough to town that we could explore everything in Hot Springs with just a short drive but far enough out to be able to relax and enjoy being outside in the yard. I would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Hot Springs!

My 3 adult kids and I booked our annual get away and selected this home for a weekend of fun and relaxation based on appearance and reviews. This home did not disappoint!! It is absolutely beautiful, with modern decor and updates including special added touches of fall decorations in the home, complete with fresh baked cookies waiting for us! It is immaculately clean! The views of the mountains, even from the big picture windows inside the house were breathtaking. We walked through the trails every day and the acreage was well maintained and manicured. Jon and Mindy are an example of what every host should be and we definitely want to come back! Thank you so much for all you did to make it a perfect weekend! People, don’t miss out on this one!

This property is beautiful! Sits on top of a hill that overlooks the National Park and has plenty of yard space. The inside was very clean and welcoming. My friends and I had a wonderful stay and hope to return!

Overall a great stay - the home had all we needed in a private secluded location. The sunrises were the best!

Simply AMAZING views and house. Me and my three musketeers loved roaming around outside, laying in the hammock, etc. All five of us loved lounging on the sectional and all the bedrooms. The beds were so comfortable and the showerhead in the master bedroom was incredible. The hosts did an amazing job on the house and left us homemade cookies that just happened to be my favorite kind of cookie! Six star rating because of that!

This home is amazing. Let me start off by saying communication was on point with the owners. They left several goodies for us in the house to munch on as well. The front view to the mountains never ever got old. A couple of evenings and mornings we would sit and watch those mountains till our behinds got tired of sitting down. The property is well taken care off and there are so many places to hang out relax. My mother would wake up early every morning just to pick a different spot outside to say her daily prayers. Everyone in our group enjoyed the inside of the house. Great layout and very spacious. The showers were great and the water pressure is the best. I never had to bug the owners for anything, other than to let them know we loved their property. Two great spots to park your vehicle(s) in the shade. The grill is a mighty fine one I must say; they had a full tank of propane ready for us. I will say the bed in the master is a little squeaky, but we were so tired after the first night it didn’t bother us much. My daughters and my parents enjoyed their beds and rooms. The living room is spacious and we watched some great movies there. The lighting inside and outside of the house is beautiful. The owners thought about everything before renting this home. Did I mention the views… well I don’t get tired of looking at my pictures on my phone of all the gorgeous views around the house. The house is located in one of the most fascinating areas of the whole town; the drive! wow!!

It was really wonderful! Near all the fun! Beautiful view! The kitchen was well equipped! Washer and dryer available is very helpful! It really is a beautiful property. I have nothing to complain about; however, some of the ladies mentioned that the rooms on the left side of the house had too much light coming in at night. We tried to turn them off but couldn’t find the switch. Thank you so much! I would definitely come back with my family.

Our daughter has special needs and this was her first vacation so we were very particular about where we stayed. This house was amazing, not only for the nice and convenient interior but also for the jawdropping views that our daughter got to enjoy. (Her first time ever seeing that kind of landscape)Also being so close to everything was great because it made the travel with her much easier!Highly recommend!

We were very impressed by the property. In excellent condition and very clean. Very roomy for 6 people. My wife and I stayed in the master bedroom. Very nice and wonderful walk-in shower. The mountaintop view was awesome.

Perfect place to get away from the rush of life. The house was awesome and had everything you needed to enjoy a getaway. Only ever 20 minutes from anything being on top of a mountain was prefect.

This is our 3rd time here and plan to go in 2026. We stay here to go jeepn at Hot Springs OHV Park. When you drive through the gate, the house and view are extraordinary! Then inside the house is even better! Mindy and Jon are awesome hosts! They communicate well and are responsive to questions. We bring our dog and I take her walking through the acreage that's available. If you're looking for a place that's close to HS OHV Park, this is it!! Lots of parking for your trucks/trailers/Jeeps. We brought our son and his friend for the first time, and they were amazed as much as we were the 1st time we went. Thank you Mindy and Jon for the exceptional hospitality , once again! This property is stunning. We not only had a great time downtown Hot Springs, but we had a great time just exploring and walking about the property. The home, property, and amenities were as described in the posting. The home was immaculate and very welcoming with snacks (for both human and our fur baby), cold bottled water in the fridge, and fresh home baked cookies! The drive into downtown Hot Springs was about 10-15 minutes. The Gulpha Gorge campground is a quick drive right down the road. You can hop on the Gulpha Gorge Trail and hike into downtown Hot Springs if you are up for it! We traveled with 4 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 dog. We all had enough space in the home to be comfortable. If you do travel with your pup, consider bringing a dogbed or blanket for them to lay on. Dogs are not allowed on the beds. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Hot Springs!

The girls had a wonderful time at this place. They said it was more beautiful than the pictures showed. Even though the weather was stormy they had a phenomenal time and really enjoyed staying here. Definitely worth the experience!

This home was perfect for our family of 5 (plus a dog) but could easily have fit 2-3 more people. Mindy was fantastic with all the small details and information, and nothing I say could justify how beautiful the property and home is. The views are spectacular. The outdoor space with a fire pit, bbq, open flat green, tree swings, woodland trails, hammock and all the rest of it just provides everything you need, no matter the mood. We’ll be back!

We arrived at night to a well lit clean house with 0 issues getting in !Woke up to that view surprised me loved the place wouldn’t stay any place else while in hot springs!

The property was perfect. We stayed for our anniversary. Mindy even had an anniversary flag in the yard for us and cookies on the table. So sweet. It was cold outside but the gas fireplace was very cozy. We enjoyed the beautiful views and the visting deer. We brought our dog who loves the outdoors and nature so naturally she had a great time as well. Had a blast at the casino. Overall the home was clean and very nice. Thanks !

The pictures don’t do it justice! The beautiful Ott House is well maintained and well furnished. If you enjoy “tree bathing” - this is the spot for you! Located on a mountain overlooking Hot Springs, the home is at the end of a dead end road. The owners were very responsive when the electricity went out (transformer problems) and the gas-burning fireplace kept us warm until the power was restored. This is by far the nicest place we have stayed in!

This property was absolutely beautiful. It sits on a secluded ridge. The front of the house has a beautiful expansive view for sunrises and sunsets, and the back of the house is more forested for a peaceful and private feel. The indoor gas fireplace was highly convenient for some chilly nights. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Our teenagers enjoyed the layout of the house with bedrooms and a small tv room on the opposite side from ours. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the things and some cooking basics like oil, salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc.. The property is easy to find and is located under 10 minutes from downtown hot springs. Very convenient for eating out and hiking in the National Park.

Great house, great location, great view! Brought my family and parents for 3 nights (4 adults/1 toddler/1 baby/2 dogs). House was up on a hill with a great view and then woods on the backside of the house. Kids and dogs loved running around the property.

This house was perfect for our group of 4 adults/4 kids (age 10-13). Beautiful view and plenty of space indoor/outdoors for all of us to enjoy. The house comes stocked with everything you need and the hosts were excellent. The location was close to everything in Hot Springs but far enough out of the hustle/bustle of the main downtown area. We would definitely stay here again and couldn't recommend this place enough!

We loved everything about this stay. The home was exceptional in areas of rating. The home was beautiful, and the view was amazing! The hosts were extremely kind and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back to stay.

We went for a family vacation with our dog and we can’t wait to return in the future! The pictures don’t do the Ott House justice for how beautiful this property is. Lots of deer and other animals paid us a visit too. Mindy was very responsive, check in/out was easy, and her cookies were delicious.

Trip 2.0 This place was absolutely a gem! Way more house than the 3.5 of us needed. Let me start off by saying sometimes you see pictures of rooms and spaces and they are considerably smaller in real life than the picture you looked - this is not the case! Everything was immaculate! Plenty of space to lounge around, or play in the yard. Super quick drive to down town hot springs. Now on to the kitchen, it’s not a kitchen that you “have to make do with”, what you have, it’s a kitchen that has everything! More culinary tools than I’ve ever seen at a rental. My daughter’s favorite parts were the swings out front, and the new books she’d never been read. Our favorite things were being so secluded, and so close to so much! 10 out of 10, highly recommend!!
