Beach access is an easy bike ride down a paved trail.
Native live oaks and palmettos frame a welcoming entry porch with Ipe flooring and a mahogany door with full sidelights. Indoors, an open plan flows comfortably from room to room with sophisticated interior detailing and tasteful furnishings. The living room features a coffered ceiling, custom built-ins that flank a gas fireplace, and wall-to-wall windows and glass doors that open onto the pool deck. French-style cabinetry with bead-board accents and floor-to-ceiling windows define the eat-in kitchen, which has a large center island with breakfast bar-seating for four, arched doorways, and direct access to the screened porch. Just beyond the kitchen is a built-in desk, pantry, and utility room.
Located on the main floor, the master suite is illuminated by a large bay window, which houses a seating area. The adjoining master bath offers a private water closet, dual vanities, walk-in shower, and soaking tub. Upstairs three guest rooms join an upstairs family room. One guest room with a comfortable king bed is an en-suite, and the other two (a third king and a room with two bunks with a total of four twin beds) share a bath. Outdoor living abounds with a large saltwater pool with sun shelf and spa. Surrounded by cable railing, the pool deck is large enough for lounging, grilling, and alfresco dining with the screened porch nearby for year-round enjoyment of the lush, maritime forest surroundings.
Private saltwater pool can be heated for an additional $175 per day (four day minimum required). The homeowners have generously provided beach towels and chairs. There is a ping pong table and board games for rainy day fun!

This property is beautiful and is well kept. Plenty of room for all seven of us. The rental management company was very responsive to a couple of maintenance issues and had someone there as soon as possible. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Reviewer Comments: House is beautiful and our family of 8 adults had a fabulous 2 week stay . The staff at ESPM were extremely responsive to any of our requests. The house was missing an iron and ironing board when we arrived so we emailed ESPM and within a few hours they dropped the iron/ironing board off at the house . We have stayed at several houses on Kiawah Island and this was one of the nicest and good value . However although the kitchen was well equipped with appliances like blender/Keurig/toaster oven etc it would have been nice if there where more plates/dishes/wine glasses as there was 8 of us and we were constantly short of dishes . The deck was really nice but if you like sitting in the sun it was shaded most of the afternoon apart from the corner by the hot tub which could be because of the time of year we were there . I would recommend this house

The property was beautiful and well stocked. The Pool guy came in the middle of the day with no warning to add chemicals and told us we would have to wait to enter. Not the best timing for a mini vaca and startled us as well as we were not expecting anyone. Glad we were dressed. A few items were broken upon arrival. We called, but no one contacted us back until right before we were to leave. Hope those were fixed prior to next guests. I understand we were first for new owners. I would say it was in great condition for the most part and we would definitely rent again if we return. Communication with management and caretakers would be all that might need tweaking.
