Gorgeous Hidden gem Lake front Studio. Come rewind. Pet friendly

This lakeside studio was everything promised and then some. Little touches that showed how much the host cared. We hope to return for another weekend.

Hosts were absolutely incredible. Did all the little things to make our stay special. Even down to having foil and plastic wrap in the kitchen - things we didn’t know we’d need! The property is beautiful, a true gem. Heard over 20 types of birds. Spent the majority of our time just outside watching nature. The spot on the water is very secluded - we saw only one jet ski and one pedal boat fisherman on the water, in the 4 nights we spent here (we extended by one night while here, because we weren’t ready to leave the peace of the place.)The hosts were both so kind when we got to meet them. The outdoor space is beautiful- we ate our dinner outside at sunset each night (prepare for mosquitos, of course!!). The solar chandeliers made the place like a fairy tale in the evenings. And the bathroom in the studio suite - you’ll want to sit in that tub more than once!We will absolutely be back. Easily one of the most peaceful places we’ve spent time. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for having us.

Had a very quiet 4 night stay in the Studio. We drove 3 hours after a full workday and walked into a clean and wonderful space. We did a quick unpacking and cooked our preplanned dinner. The weather was a bit cool so we enjoyed the view of the lake from the covered deck. The bed and linens are so comfy and soft. The bathroom is well appointed and spacious. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and other appliances to feel right at home. The Studio is very quiet and very comfortable. The lake shore and yard area are full of seating areas and games. Only minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We will plan to visit again in warmer weather to enjoy more of the property.

This place was beautiful! My wife and I loved it the moment we arrived. The hosts were so sweet they even got me a birthday cake since I was staying there for my birthday. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

We absolutely loved our sweet lake front studio. The studio was perfect in every way. There was so much thought and care that went into every detail, from the beautiful lake themed decorations to all the activities provided right outside the door. The patio is a peaceful spot to relax with a cup of coffee and just enjoy looking out. Everything was as described- we were in town for a wedding so we didn’t get to participate in any water activities- but plenty are provided. The studio itself was clean, bright, and well stocked- we lacked for nothing. The owners were very friendly and offered quick answers to a couple questions I had before booking. Best of all, they are pet friendly. Would definitely recommend for a couple or small family with pets.

The cabin was absolutely perfect. It was extremely clean, decorated very well, and had so many amenities, including kayaks and canoes. One of our favorite things about the property was the view from the front porch and the super-cute touches of the lighting at night, especially the chandeliers! We got in a little later than we wanted, but was still able to go to dinner very close to the property. Who knew such a bustling city was right down the road from the lake? You certainly couldn’t hear any of it while at the property. We were only able to stay one night, but I could see us staying there for several nights without running out of things to do. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Beautiful setting, very quiet, peaceful, friendly hosts

The amenities were superb. Loved the double headed shower and the spa bath tub. The bed was very comfy. We loved it at The Studio.

My husband, son (12), and I went to DFW for a fun little get away and staying at this Hidden Gem was absolutely perfect for us! The little extra things they did for our stay did not go unnoticed: cold waters in the frig, make up wipes, kitchen supplies, extra blankets for sitting outside, wood easily available for the fire pit, etc. The lake was also so stinkin’ cute! If we had gone during a warmer month we definitely would’ve taken more advantage of it with the available kayaks. Due to our busy schedule we didn’t get to take full advantage of the amenities, but the propane grill, lawn Jenga, and corn hole were a nice addition. The hosts were also pleasant to deal with and friendly.

The host and hostess very professional and friendly and let us know they were available if we needed anything. . The hot tub worked wonderfully! as did the coffeemaker, stove, heating unit, outdoor grill. The decor was rustic but modern with a designer double bathroom sink that I must now get for my home. THE VIEW was the best! At night, I could leave the curtains open and look at the lake AND Xmas lights on the trees while I relaxed in the big comfy clean bed. The step up kitchen was a dream stocked with spices, coffees, and nice quality dishes. The boats, board games, lifejackets, provided hours of fun! Will be coming back to this idyllic getaway that gave me the relaxation and cozy comfort I needed. A temporary SLICE OF HEAVEN!

OMG- one of the most organized, clean well stocked places (Lake House) we have stayed at Internet could work a bit better- but you are at the Lake to enjoy!!!Have a ton of pictures, but I like this one

Many aspects of this property are lovely. We loved the bed, kitchenette, bathroom. The hideaway couch/sofa bed was unusable. Very torn, very thin mattress, and wires and zip ties holding frame together. The bathroom towels seemed to be damp- but I think it may have been due to no fan in bathroom. The kayaks, which we were excited to use, were full of water in the hulls, and lying in ant mounds, with mud and wet leaves in seats. The patio was lovely but had very dirty cushions and deck, and not sure there was a light to turn on when we returned at night to enter property. We would likely stay again, convenient to our family that lives in the area, but a few items could be improved.

The studio was wonderful! It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed for a great stay. There were lots of cooking utensils, paper towels, spices, aluminum foil, etc....even assorted coffee pods and creamers. The bathroom was very nice and large and even the bed was super comfortable.The property was quiet, peaceful and in a beautiful location right on the lake. It was quite warm and we were even able to use the kayaks that they had there.The hosts were great and very responsive but didn't bother us. Overall, it was a wonderful visit and we would definitely come back again if we were ever in the area. There is nothing bad to say. I highly recommend this place!!

It was a perfect home away from home

This was my second time staying here, and it was as beautiful and peaceful as it was the first time. We had so much fun and relaxed.

The location is good, the bed is comfortable. Love the bathroom with double showers and jetted tub. The only issue we had was all the spiders! Some spiders were inside in various corners which we can handle and understand we’re in nature. But, all of the outside chairs, tables, and games were absolutely covered in webs and spiders making it unusable to us. We stayed 2 nights and within that time our car became totally covered with spiders and their webs. We had to sweep them off with a broom and then still saw spiders crawling on the car as we drove so we had to hit up a car wash. So it’s a lovely place if there weren’t so many spiders.

Nice place and area, owners easy to contact if you need help with any. I recommend this place.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting family close by. Unit had everything needed and clean. Very quiet and relaxing location. We enjoyed waking up in the morning, viewing the lake with coffee and ending our day with a cocktail enjoying the lake view.

Wife and I stayed here for the weekend and it is absolutely beautiful. Sunset over the lake is incredible and its a great little spot. Definitely will be back

Very clean and well stocked. Beautiful bathroom and porch was extremely nice. Sitting area and table with ceiling fan and a floor fan to help with the heat and bugs. We had a weather warning while there and they were nice enough to call us to make sure we saw it.

Very clean and comfy, had everything we needed including friendly owners. The walk down to the shore with the sunset and grilling food was a fun time. Highly recommend this place, be sure to be there before sunset.

I was looking for a quiet peaceful place to spend a weekend with my wife for her 40th birthday. This property was perfect. The studio was very well equipped and cozy, the amenities provided are the best I've encountered in any short term rental. It's tucked just far away from the metroplex that you can easily forget where you are, but close enough to go for entertainment or necessities. We will absolutely be staying again!

We loved staying in Diana's Studio! It was so peaceful and private and a relaxing way to spend the night after a busy weekend and before our flight home. The Studio is perfectly decorated, and I loved the view of the lake from the comfy bed. The bathroom spacious and perfect and the kitchen was fully stocked. Parking was easy and convenient right next door, the deck was wonderful and Diana responded so quickly whenever I sent a quick note. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We enjoyed our stay in the studio. The view is just beautiful with the big green yard, large trees, and lake. We took the kayaks out a couple times and our kids loved the sandy area by the water while I sat on the lawn chairs. There was another group staying at the cabin on the property but we felt like we had plenty of privacy. Our kids slept well on the pull out couch bed and the King bed was very comfortable. Overall a very peaceful experience and we’re glad we got to stay there!

Diane was very welcoming and was genuinely excited to have us as guests. Her place is absolutely perfect for a getaway. You can watch the sunset over the lake while sitting on your porch or sitting on the beach area. The yard is grassy and has all sorts of options for your days/nights (Corn hole, fire pit, kayaking, cards and other fun activities). Inside is absolutely perfect! The bathroom is huge with a double shower and a jacuzzi tub. Kitchen offers the option to cook anything you want. I could go on and on….we wished we could have stay longer but we were just passing through on our way home from the East coast. Don’t pass this one up!

The studio was a relaxing stay. The property was very well equipped with just about everything you could need. It's a nice quiet stay, the only issue we had was the countertop ice maker (which is a nice feature, part of the well equipped) can be...surprisingly loud when it cracks ice and kicks on the compressor if you're a light sleeper. Everything else was great, plenty of extra linens, a stocked kitchen. I wish we had more time to look around during the day but the waterfront property looked quite nice and the deck was also as well equipped with motion activated lights to help out going to and from the car at night.

We loved our short stay at The Studio! The property was beautiful and very inviting. Everything was clean and the home had all the amenities we needed. The host was communicative and made both the check-in and check-out process easy. We enjoyed fishing by the lake, canoeing, and roasting marshmallows by the fire. Perfect peaceful getaway!

My husband and I (and our sweet baby) stayed a night here to celebrate our anniversary. We loved it! We would love to come back and enjoy it more, because we really didn’t get enough time to enjoy everything. But if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place to getaway, we highly recommend!

My wife and I took our dog for a three day weekend in the winter. The weather was too cold for swimming but the studio has a perfect view of the water! The size was perfect for the three of us and our dog enjoyed the spacious outdoors for walks. The studio itself has great water pressure, easy to keep the temperature comfortable in the space, a spacious bathroom, and comfortable bed. Hosts were kind and understood that we’re still working on our pup’s manners.

This is my 3rd time here and I have loved it every time! It is so peaceful and relaxing.

We love this relaxing location on the lake. Our kid's schedules have kept us so busy it's been way too long since our last visit. We remembered how much we love coming to relax here and will definitely be back in the summer. Thanks for sharing your beautiful slice of the lake with us!

My expectations were blown out of the water. Not only was the studio a wonderful place to stay, but so were the hosts. Both caring people, and did an amazing job preparing our stay. It felt like a paradise away from home. We’ll be back again!

The studio was very nice on the inside. It has updated appliances and interior decor. The bed was very comfortable and we had all the supplies we needed for cooking and linens. Its the perfect couples get away.

We had a relaxing, no-hassle stay for two nights. It was nice to have such easy access to kayaks and paddle boards anytime we wanted to use them. It was great to stay at a property that welcomed our two dogs with open arms, and the check-out instructions were short and straight-forward!
