Gorgeous family friendly 4-bedroom house in Carlsbad

This completely renovated family friendly house is our home when we are not traveling and we’d love to share it with you to enjoy the California lifestyle.

We are a 4 minute (1.6 miles) drive to the beach and under a 10 min drive to Carlsbad Village, Legoland, mall, many grocery stores, train station, and I-5. We are also conveniently located 25 min to Sea World, 35 min to the San Diego Zoo, and about an hour drive to Disneyland. No smoking or pets.

The space
The househas 4 bedrooms. Three bedrooms & 2.5 bathrooms on the first floor and a large bedroom/office with private bathroom on the second floor that leads to a 400 sq ft roof deck with ocean & sunset views. The “kids wing has a full bathroom with double sink and 2 bedrooms: one with a twin over full bunk bed and the other with toddler bed that converts to a crib. The primary bedroom on the first floor has it’s own bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and soaking tub.
The main floor is an open floor plan with a library (2 couches, kids books, and ocean views), and the living room has a 12' large leather couch and 65 smart TV for the whole family to enjoy movie nights. The kitchen has a chef's range with hood, stainless steel appliances, and a large island that seats six. Off the kitchen is a washer/dryer and an extra fridge. The horizontal sliding window above the kitchen sink opens completely to the back deck to create a great indoor/outdoor feel. The dining room table expands to seat six and leads to the back deck.

The second floor office has an adjustable treadmill desk with ocean views, a full bathroom, queen size bed, and a couch great for mid-afternoon naps. A large roof deck is accessed through the office. The roof deck has a couch and chairs with cushions to enjoy expansive ocean views and sunsets.

The back of the house has a private deck with a grill and outdoor table with umbrella, large fully-gated backyard with kids playground, smokeless firepit and an orange and lemon tree for you to enjoy. There is also a hot/cold outdoor shower on the side of the house to rinse off the sand after a day at the beach.

There is parking in the driveway for 2 cars.

Guest access
The garage, top room and a few locked closets are for our personal storage. Otherwise, guests will have the entire house including access to washer/dryer, kitchen amenities, and outdoor hot/cold shower.

Other things to note
There is an adjacent guest suite on the other side of the garage that is not included. It is completely separate from the main house with its own driveway and gated area.
The house is located on a quiet residential street. No smoking/vaping or pets anywhere on the property.
