The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a fun stay.
It was perfect. Will be back.
The deck and view is amazing. What a wonderful way to wake up. We got in the water and stood on the big rock. We found a few Petoskey stones. We had Friske donuts, Dairy Grille and did many more things around Charlevoix area.
Amazing property, amazing view. The rocks below are absolutely gorgeous. It's like a mini-national pictured rocks lakeshore. Lots of spacious rooms and seating area.
This house is in a fabulous location. It overlooks Lake Michigan and the area is very quiet, so you can open all the windows and let a great breeze blow through. You can even leave the windows open at night and listen to the waves and the trees rustling. (There's no AC but you don't need it with the windows open.) There wasn't any beach at the bottom of the stairs when we were there (lake levels were high), but there is an awesome beach just a half mile down the road and we built sandcastles and played in the waves. (A bit cold for me but the 4-year old loved it.) We drove into Charlevoix and walked around the wharves and shops and that was fun too.
The house is very nice and the location is awesome. The house overlooks the lake and there was a wonderful breeze almost all of the time. You can open all the windows and listen to the waves and the rustling of the trees. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. There is a terrific beach which is just a half mile down the road, and there were very few people at the beach -- no crowds. We also drove into Charlevoix and walked around and that was fun too.
The house was huge and had amazing views! The layout was also perfect for two families with kids -- two bathrooms and two bedrooms each on either side of the stairs on the second floor made for nice privacy, while the main living area on the first floor was spacious and great for hanging out as a group (and the kids loved playing pool and foosball in the basement while the grownups hung out in the living/dining area). House was super clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, etc. Thanks!
Four of our friends from NJ who had never been Up North went with us to this beautiful lake home. They loved it and already talking about coming back. Thank you so much.
Property was beautiful....TV's should be upgraded to smart tv's but other than that it was great.
Had a great time in Charlevoix. This house is a nice location if you’re looking to do both Charlevoix and Traverse City. There is no beach at the moment due to high lake levels but there is a nice local beach that is walking distance. The hosts were very accommodating! I highly recommend especially if you have a larger group.
