GORGEOUS 5 BR HOME IN REHOBOTH BEACH - 147 Columbia Ave

This is the perfect beach retreat. The house was perfect for a large extended family. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms comfortable and the neighborhood was ideal. I recommend this property without hesitation.

The property is lovely. We truly enjoyed the landscaped backyard. The kitchen appliances, cookware and dishware were stocked well for some family meals.Great open spaces for game playing, visiting, tv watching, etc. Parking for 4 cars and plenty of street parking a bonus.Only downsides were lack of dish cloths and towels, luckily we brought some and Columbia is a very busy street without sidewalks.

Overall I would rate it 4.5. We had a few issues (dirty couch, we covered it with a blanket to not sit directly on it). Starter on grill broken so used a lighter to start it. Listing says 4 bedrooms with deck access. It’s actually only 3. None for master, however, that was probably best because those 3 bedrooms were warmer than the other 2. I think the deck doors are not very tight to keep the heat outside and cool air inside in them. Also a very dirty windowsill in the twin bed room, which was also the warmest. Don’t think cleaners actually cleaned it. Mattress pad on king bed was dirty from previous people, but we had the linen service, so we had no idea that it was until we were ready to leave and stripped the beds. No time to launder them for next people, like they asked because we were minutes away from checking out. Overall though, we loved the house and the location, while not close to beach like we usually are, gave us more of a chance to explore the “upper” area of Rehoboth Ave. and it is still very walkable to the downtown boardwalk area.

I love the location, spaciousness, and style of this home. It is very well kept and I hope to rent it again in the future. My family and I made many happy memories here.

This house is amazing! Great space and amenities. Extremely comfortable and clean! The location is fabulous!

Where do I start? This is the PERFECT beach house! The house is beautifully decorated, spacious and stocked with everything you need for a beach get away! Kitchen has everything you need to cook meals and the house is within very close walking distance to restaurants if you’d rather eat out. The rooms are spacious and comfortable! Plenty of seating areas and bathrooms for everyone. The backyard is perfect for some outdoor privacy and the front porch is comfortable for morning coffee, afternoon tea or cocktails in the evening.
