Gorgeous 4 BR Kingswood Estates Home - Family & Pet Friendly!!

We had everything and more we needed for our stay. The home was well stocked and clean. Great location. Safeway , other small businesses near by and quick drive to the lake. We would definitely come back and enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Guellert’s. Darcy was responsive from booking to check in. I stayed here with my 3 adult sisters, our 6 teenagers, and 2 toddlers. The space felt big enough for us except for the dining room was a bit tight but since the weather was nice, the teenagers chose to eat outside since there is a nice patio table. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the gadgets you’d need, spices, and several extras. The house is very kid friendly with plates, cups etc for them, many board games and many winter and summer toys. All in all, this was a great place for us to stay, only about a 7 minute drive to the lake. The only bummer was that there really wasn’t much snow but obviously that was not in anyone’s control. We ended up going to Truckee (about 20 mins) to take the kids sledding. I assume this is also because of the time of the year.

Everything was wonderful about this cabin! We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The home was spacious and welcoming. The yard was large, and we has some snow on the ground. The kids played with the sleds and the snowball maker for hours! The location was perfect, close enough for a quick drive to the beach and to town for restaurants, shops, and grocery stores.

Very welcoming. Pictured did not do it justice!! Perfectly positioned nestled in a quiet community close to the lake, Northstar, grocery stores and restaurants. A small Casino is not far either. Host was extremely responsive and addressed all of our needs via text. House had everything we needed. Perfect and comfortable for families.

Spacious and excellent location, easy access. Close to Kings beach and North Star. Our group of 2 families, with 4 teens had plenty of space. A bit dated inside. Kitchen had new appliances and is super well stocked. We would rent it again! Owners super gracious and responsive.

Everything was absolutely beautiful. Good communication, beautiful view me and family were thrilled and happy to be there.

The house was clean & exceptionally equipped for all of the meals we prepared ! The beds were all very comfortable, as well as the living room being large enough with enough seating for all our family.

Arrived at check in and everything was perfect for our family group of 9. Spacious kitchen living areea which opened onto large external deck. High dealings and large windows with views of surrounding woody area. Took hikes from the cabin. Close to kings beach. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Will definitely be back

The house was well stocked with everything one could need, especially the kitchen and additional items for the beach. Communication with the owner was smooth.However, the property is very outdated and not well maintained. The flooring/carpet was old and stained throughout the home. Normally we are a shoes-off in the house family, but the flooring was so bad that it was better to keep shoes on.Temperature was an issue in the summer. We did not expect air conditioning, as it is Tahoe, however, it was very hot upstairs and we couldn't get the main fan to work. Additionally, all the windows were screwed shut upstairs so it was hard to get airflow. In our bedroom downstairs, the window would open, but there was no screen, so our room quickly filled with insects.Both of the couches in the living room are very old and extremely uncomfortable (they are so sunken in and hard to get out of, especially for our parents, who are older). For our family, this made it impossible for us to all sit together in the evening.The location was good, although not within walking distance to King's Beach. The outdoor deck was nice, but again, shoes are needed as it is older and has not been recently sanded or stained. I would likely not stay here again, overall, it was not as comfortable and relaxing as it could have been with proper furniture and maintenance.

Nice property close to everything…..shopping…restaurants.ski resorts…casinos Grandkids love playing in the snow on the property.

We had a nice time spending time in Darcy's home. It was spacious for 3 families and 5 children. She was communicative and we found everything where you described. It was an easy process to check and check out. We also appreciated her being accommodating with us. Thank you!

I would highly recommend this rental. It’s a beautiful and spacious location that is very well stocked! Our family gets together in Tahoe every year for Thanksgiving and this has been the best house we’ve rented by far. The owners are extremely responsive and friendly, and there was plenty of seating in the living and dining room to enjoy our meals and play board games together. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need to cook and serve our meal. The deck had heat lamps so we were able enjoy the winter view. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is a great home for family gatherings- close to town and the beach and hiking trails - you can even find a hiking trail right out of the neighborhood.. The neighborhood is quiet and very pretty and there is a large deck for enjoying the trees and cookouts or dinner. The house has just about everything you need including beach toys and kitchen items and board games. And the host is very communicative and friendly. The nearby town is cute and there are grocery stores, coffee and ice cream. It’s also close to the cute nearby towns and to river rafting . The only drawback is the limited cell service for Verizon (other cell service is fine though) and lack of WiFi - which is there but doesn’t work most of the time due to location. Overall though- We really enjoyed our visit and would like to come again!! Thank you to the host!
