terry the property manager maybe the owner, was wonderful and very helpful. the house was beautiful inside and out. it was really close to everything and just far enough away to not get caught up in gruene traffic. i loved the access to the river and it was a perfect swimming spot. i strongly reccomend it and will definently rent there again.

We absolutely loved our stay in Gruene Livin Casita! The home was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. From the time we booked until the day we checked out, the owner was wonderful to work with—friendly, responsive, and great at communicating.We especially appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the property. It’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome, and those little details really made a difference.The location was perfect for enjoying Gruene, and we made some great family memories during our stay. This is the best place to stay in Greune! The house is immaculate and Terry has thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay and has excellent recommendations! This is the 2nd stay for us and the only place we’ll stay in Greune. Within walking distance to everything in town! We could not ask for a better home or host. You won’t be disappointed!

This location is perfect for a couple or family with 2 kids. The walk to Gruene Hall was close and convenient, but maybe too far for elderly or others who need a smooth paved sidewalk, as there is not one.

Everything we needed and more with this property. We place high value in cleanliness and it was very clean. We will be back in some of our future travels.

Magical escape in Gruene, Texas! Put this place on your bucket list! This Casita is modern, yet homey…honestly, my husband and I are already looking at dates to return. The owner-hosts, Terry and Terry, were incredibly helpful and responsive! Their attention to detail is truly outstanding. The property is on the Guadalupe river and an easy walk to Gruene Hall, plus adorable shops and amazing restaurants! Go to Gruene Door…the food is world class! The River City grill has great food and you will feel like you stepped back in history! The staff at both places are truly special…warm and welcoming. Kora-Kora for coffee, yummy scones and muffins. This trip was a combination work (writing retreat) and of course, a lil’ Texas fun! If I had imagined a place to reset my nervous system-this is it!

Cute and well stocked casita. But enjoyed walking into Gruene for breakfast every morning.

It was perfect.

My wife and I loved everything about the property. It was great for a couple spending 4 nights in Gruene. Everything in Gruene was easy walking distance. Parking was great. Bed was great. Shower was great. We made breakfast every morning and had what we needed. Coffee station is really nice. We'll look to book again as we may be down again next year at this time.

We can't say enough great things about the property and the host for this casita! Everything was exactly as pictured and they have thought of everything for your stay! The host were so responsive and went the extra mile to make our stay extra special (we were celebrating a 50th birthday)! We loved the river access and spent evenings down on the lower deck overlooking the river. This casita is within close walking distance to Gruene Hall and very close to shopping, restaurants and bars! We walked the entire weekend. We can't recommend this property enough and will definitely be back!

This casita is first class! Very well appointed and upscale amenities. They had everything we needed and more. Loaded coffee bar, shower amenities, fully stocked kitchen, upoer and lower decks with grill, fire pit, chairs for relaxing and viewing the beautiful Guadalupe river! Walk to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, live music, putt putt golf. Terry and Terry make it a memorable vacation! We tubed the river from the back yard of the casita!!

We had a great stay at this casita. Clean, modernized facility with great amenities! Kids loved the bunk beds and the access to the river, and mom and dad loved the location (10 min walk to Gruene, 10 mins drive to grocery store and tons of restaurants). Highly recommend!

Our family loved everything about our stay at Terry's Casita! I'll start with the location. There is not a more convenient spot! Every evening we walked (with our three and six year old) into Gruene to eat dinner, shop, play putt putt golf, and get ice cream. Each day we played in the river which is directly accessible on the property. We loved the Texas music and classy rustic feel of the Casita. The cleanliness and updated decor met our high expectations when staying at a vrbo. Terry's hospitality and attention to fine detail is refreshing. There wasn't a need that wasn't already anticipated, from toiletries, to every modern-day convenience necessary, snacks, and even a kind note and gift for our little guys. Easy check in and out and great communication. We can't wait to come back. One of the best places to stay in our book! Thank you.

Our stay was amazing! I have OCD, so traveling is really hard for me. Cleanliness is a top priority for me. This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed. It was amazing. I was able to truly relax and enjoy myself more than I have anywhere else I have traveled. Not only was it a nice place inside, but the outside was cute as well. Great little place. Loved the house and location. Love music could be heard from the front porch which was nice but could not be heard in the inside. It was a perfect weekend.

Loved the location and the property. It is within walking distance of Gruene Hall and several restaurants. There are a couple things that I was not aware of. If you are older or not in good shape, please be aware that the access to the river is very steep walk/climb. Its not too bad going down, but going up is difficult. We did this one time lol. We just rented tubes from Rockin R and just rode river through them. The property does not offer tubes. The owners were very kind to offer their compressor, but we didnt want to haul a lot of stuff down to the river and back up those stairs. We were going to puchase tubes at Walmart, but we were in my car, so we didnt want to have to deflate and haul the tubes all the way back home. The only other thing to be mindful of is there is no cover on the front door. If its nighttime and you are taking a shower, make sure you do not walk out of the bathroom without clothes. There are people walkign down the street and can see in the Casita at night. It was a lovely place. We will deifinitely stay again. We just covered the door with a blanket at night and did not use their river access. There were also deer that were walking in the backyard as well as the driveway. It was a very cool place to stay.

Terry and terry do an amazing job at creating a home away from home! The casita is so close to everything Gruene has to offer. It was so clean and homey and the access to the river is wonderful. We had the best time.

We really enjoyed the comfort, amenenties, and convenience of this location for our stay. The river is just behind us, and walking distance to everything charming in Gruene. Terry was very attentive to our needs if any and I would definitely come back and stay here We love Gruene Texas.

So beautiful, so clean, so quiet---so---amazing! Great house, fun, amazing Bosch appliances ( love the electronically operated shower :) ). Walking distance to town, great shopping, great food, super friendly people, great music close by. The house has everything you will need, including a great full kitchen.This was our first time to visit this town, and, we went to Whitewater Amph and saw Willie Nelson (what a great time).Our host, Terry is so gracious and we had a lot of fun talking, great people!!I am telling y'all: you have no choice, you must stay at this house, you will love every second of it...
