The property is excellent for a large group. We spent four nights. The kitchen was well equipped — although the knives could have been sharper. Grocery stores are some distance — so it is good we planned ahead and brought groceries. My son and his cousins used the home theater in the basement. We didn’t use the wood stove — but there was plenty of split wood. There is also an outdoor fire pit with chairs.

Awesome cabin. Au Sable Acres is very relaxed and secluded. The lodge was very clean and well-supplied and the game room and movie theater in basement are a great bonus. FYI, the wood staircase up to the 2nd level is beautiful, but could be hazardous for little kids (large openings / and slightly rounded top surface). Would definitely come back to this cabin again. It's one of the nicest cabins in the Adirondacks for its size and price range.

Easy access to ski resort, town, hiking. This could definitely be an all-season rental.

This rental had absolutely everything we could want; comfortable seating, large dining room table, myriad activities for teens (Foosball, air hockey, etc.), plenty of sleeping accommodations, and an incredibly well stocked kitchen, to name a few. This was probably the best place we have ever rented.

Overall the property was as advertised. Plenty of space, clean, and well kept. Its quiet and off the beaten path. Im sure it would be very nice in the summer and fall as well.

This home is well appointed and very clean. It has everything you need. When we booked the property it said a hot tub was available. However when we got our confirmation we were told the hot tub had been drained and not in use. So we were disappointed but oh well, everything else was wonderful and we made many Christmas memories. We will definitely come back.

What can I say but this cabin is absolutely gorgeous. As it is described and shown in the pictures is what you get and more. Property was very clean and tidy with lots of room to spread out and hang out! We had rain most of our stay but the fire stove and hot tub were great amenities. Beds were super comfortable too. The owner was very responsive to my emails. Can’t wait to book our next trip here at the gooseberry. Thanks you.
