Golden Dome Getaway: Hot Tub, Cinema, Fire Pit!

House was a great size for 2 families and our girls enjoyed the hot tub. Host is very responsive.

Very nice place. Very big and roomy.

Kitchen was mostly clean but no clean sponges or paper towels were available. Coffee pot had to be unplugged and moved to island (which had no plug) in order to fill the well and coffee grounds, then carefully moved back to original space to plug it in. We left the kitchen cleaner than we found it.

Very clean house that has been nicely updated. Owner was very responsive and the neighborhood was quite nice. One note, the neighbors are lite sleepers and are not shy about letting you know if youre too loud. LOL. just a heads up!

Responsive host before and during stay. Close proximity to campus, which was great for our group that traveled in from around the country.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay in South Bend at Justine and Isaac's beautiful home. The house is well-maintained, clean, very spacious, and was the perfect home base for our golf trip. It is in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood with plenty of room for parking in the driveway, too. We will absolutely be staying again the next time we are in town!

At the agreed-upon check-in time of 11 AM, we discovered that the cleaning crew was still present. We subsequently departed and returned after a two-hour interval.Upon our return, the cleaning crew was still in the process of cleaning.Upon entering the home, we observed that the front door was damaged.We observed the presence of pests, specifically spiders and spider webs, throughout the exterior of the property.The backyard was overgrown and unkempt, necessitating the relocation of furniture away from the home.We were hesitant to utilize the hot tub due to the overgrowth and presence of spiders.The outdoor movie theater screen was in a state of disrepair, and the outdoor games were stored in a garage that did not appear safe to enter.We had purchased food for grilling, only to discover that the grill was not cleaned and was in a state of disrepair. We attempted to clean it, but the grill was too damaged to use.There was no propane available for the fire pit, and we were unsure if it was even functional.The Nintendo Switch was not operational, which, while not critical, was a promised feature that was not usable.Several fixtures throughout the home were damaged, missing, or detached from the walls.Several fixtures throughout the home exhibited damage, were missing, or were detached from the walls.The bedroom description proved to be inaccurate, as one room was expected to have two bunk beds, but only one was present.Another room was advertised as havin

Great place

This is a great location with its proximity to the University of Notre Dame. A secluded, wooded, and quiet neighborhood park across the street also adds to the charm of the property. The sleeping arrangements worked great for our mini family reunion, and I already miss the memory foam mattress in the master bedroom.

This is a great house for a larger group. We had 11 people. The back yard area with hot tub was a great hangout spot.To clarify the sleeping situation: master with king bed, bedroom with bunk beds (2 singles), bedroom with 2 singles each of which has a trundle bed. 3rd floor has queen bed and a double futon. Living room has a modular sectional sofa but not a true sleeper sofa. We had brought 2 blowup beds and there is one at the house so 3 college aged boys slept in living room on those. They could have slept in trundle bed room with my brother - but he is a big snorer!Overall excellent place in South Bend and we would stay here again!

The property was clean and nice and well located. I’ll check in process was smooth and easy and the owners insured that we had a great day every time we have stayed.

Great experience

The size of the house was great for hosting our family of 8. Especially the 3.5 bathrooms! The kitchen was well stocked and the house was clean.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Golden Dome Getaway!! The house and neighborhood are very charming and safe and was perfect for our group. Justine and Isaac were wonderful and provided a nice little gift basket which was the perfect touch. Communication was quick and very easy.The bedrooms were perfect size and will work for just about any sized group or family. The living room was very comfy and a fun place to lounge and watch tv. Kitchen and dining room were also perfect. Everything was spotless and matched the pictures perfectly.My only complaint is that we didn’t have enough time and we booked in December because the backyard is phenomenal! There is a hot tub, cinema, and a fenced yard that would be so much fun in warmer weather. We had some family related issues back home and ended up bringing our dog and Justine and Isaac were both very understanding and accommodating. They even sent some forgotten items back to us which is almost unheard of these days. We will be back soon and the Golden Dome Getaway will always be the first place we look to book.Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Our family needed a place to stay for a celebration of life ceremony. We wanted a place large enough to accommodate all of so we could hang out together without being on top of each other! This home was perfect and the dining room and living room were large enough for our family and grandkids to hang out. The home was clean, communication with the property manager was smooth and our stay here was a wonderful experience😊

Justine and Issac were great hosts from the beginning (before even booking) Answering questions and being so helpful And accommodating with our large group of families ranging from 4-77 from Seattle, WA, San Leandro, CA, Woodstock, GA and Ocala, FL and very rapid in responding! When back in area will look up again!! Thank you for a great stay
