We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was so quiet at night. We enjoyed the solitude with our pups. Wifi was in and out but with monsoon season the weather could have affected the signal. Be aware you likely won’t have phone service while there but it can be a great break from technology! You
We had a great stay here! The house was a good size for 3 adults and 1 dog. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom has plenty of towels, and the kitchen had all the appliances you could need. It was clean and quiet. We enjoyed walking on the road with our dog, and she even spotted a mule deer from the living room window! Easy and beautiful drive to Estes Park and the general store was had delicious sandwiches and cinnamon rolls!
We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen and the peace and quiet.
Loved the quiet neighborhood. Comfy beds and plenty of kitchen supplies. Convenient to exploring the Tetons. Communication was excellent. Thanks!
This cabin was a perfect home base for all of the activities we did in the area (hiking, fishing, visiting RMNP). The Crosier Mountain trails are close by, well-maintained and fun hikes. We saw plenty of elk when driving to/from Estes. There is a small farm across the street that does make it feel a little less secluded but wasn't noisy. The little stream that runs beside the road was lovely.
- Seclusion - Relaxation - Decor is my FAVE! - Deep tub for bubble baths - Babbling brook within ear-shot of bedrooms
We had everything we needed. Pretty views. Good internet connection. Only complaint is that the pictures did not accurately show how steep the stairs were. They were very difficult to go up and down. We would like to have known that before making our decision.
Property was as advertised.
Clean, comfortable, well equipped and lots of towels! Highly recommend. Thanks Al & Marc
Located in the town of Glen haven which has one store with very little stuff that closes at 5pm the end of august and a post office and no corners. LOL The cabin is on a slightly steep hill and pretty private. One neighbor on one side and another barely visible across the street. The house was very clean and LOADED with everything you may need. So many pots and pans and silver ware etc etc. Towels OMG never seen so many towels in one place but a store. Worried about not having enough hot water? NOT HERE. I actually seriously caution you about the HOT water especially with children. I aint complaining just explainin so nobody gets burned it was awesome for us to take never ending HOT showers back to back. There is a bedroom on the main level and thats also where the only bathroom is located. The living area and 2 bedrooms are on the upper level. Nice size decks front and back. When you stay here to visit Estes park only a short drive away. IDK how long as I was driving like miss daisy to take in all the sites and pulling over to let people pass the scenery is gorgeous. Anyways make sure to take some time to drive north east towards drake the scenery along that way is super cool. My communication with the owner was perfect quick and smooth. Never actually talked to them but emailing was great. The WIFI worked great. The T.V and couch were great. Not having Air conditioning was NOT an issue at all the fans cooled the house down fast and with basically no humidity in Colorado we were very cozy in the 70, and high 80,degree temps. In fact my wife was actually cold. LOL Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
