Stayed Jun 28, 2025This was to be a very different trip then originally planned but it ended up even better! I wanted to find a place that each of my family members would enjoy. I didn't fail. Between the river being at the edge of the property, the outdoor shower, the trampoline and the wonderful glass house it was a week of happiness. We all love being outdoors and camping and this has taken glamping to a new level. Lying on the sofa at night and looking up at the stars was a special time for my grandson and I, discussing what we saw and what we had done that day. We also enjoyed watching all of the wildlife coming through and then going out to find their footprints. The glass house has ruined us for any other kind of structure. Living like you're outside but in a temperature regulated and bug free environment. Absolute Bliss!

Stayed Dec 20, 2024Magical place in a beautiful grove of rocks, grasses and lichen. One of the best places we have ever stayed. Very professional management. Can't say enough about our stay.

Stayed Oct 6, 2024We had an awesome stay this week in the Glass House! The newly installed EV charger made a big impact on our stay, enabling us to visit the far end of King’s Canyon without any worries in our EV. The photos give a taste for how cool this building is, but arriving and walking through really is the only way to property appreciate how open it is. There is near total privacy thanks to the very large property, privacy fence along the road, and forested setting. The house is floor to ceiling glass in every room, looking out into the trees and the foothills beyond. There are curtains in the bedrooms and bathrooms, but the main living areas are so beautifully open. Thanks to the excellent A/C you can be inside relaxing or cooking, enjoying the views, while it’s 90° outside. The kitchen has a complete set of pots, pans, and implements you’ll need for cooking indoors or grilling on the back patio. We didn’t miss anything from home. We charged our Rivian easily overnight with the newly installed 40amp charger. It’s a juicebox charger with a J1772 plug. Tesla owners will need to bring their adaptor, or use the 14-50 outlet on the charging post with their mobile charger. It was crucial to have an EV charger because the distances and elevation gains involved in visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon from Three Rivers are pretty huge. Though it does involve lots of driving, the parks are incredible and the location is great. Hope we get to stay here again!

Stayed Jul 21, 2024We really enjoyed this house, it felt as though we were outside without the heat and bugs! The house had everything we needed and more. This house was not super livable, meaning there are not a lot of surfaces to place things (think no place for glasses near beds). This house is also very dark, all the lighting in the house is an odd color or dark besides the bathroom. We arrived and left in the dark which was hard because there was no outside lighting. This house is unlike any other house I’ve ever stayed in, we loved how outside and inside were brought together.

Stayed May 30, 2024The glass house was an ideal location for our family's retreat. We picked up groceries before coming into the Three Rivers area but the house was fully stocked with housewares and even spices that made it so easy to relax at home. We loved the nearby sounds of the river and overall comfort of the place. We will be coming back!

Stayed Oct 7, 2019The photographs of this beautiful and unusual property are accurate. The mid-century high style of its furnishings are matched by their comfort and functionality. Kitchen was fun to cook in -- excellent appliances, utensils, pots/pans + a clever solution to limited work space. Bed very comfortable with a lovely view of the nearly full moon. Keep the windows open and you'll fall asleep to crickets & the sound of gently rushing water (not visible from the house.) Bathroom spotless and spacious with high-end products. Exterior lovely, too. Old-growth trees, outdoor fireplace where we made s'mores (this is a requirement ;-) And birds galore -- quail, bluejays, wild turkeys, woodpeckers. Home is in the path of two deer that we saw every day from the comfort of the quilted hammock hanging from giant sycamores (I think.) Definitely a keeper.
