This was a great spot to stay for a guys weekend. Location is a short drive to Old Port where we spent most of our time. When we weren't out and about the backyard with a fire pit and corn hole boards was perfect for hanging out. Ryan was great and responsive.
This is an awesome place to stay. Very spacious and clean! The internet was being tricky… but that wasn’t a problem for us.
The house has lots of potential but needs to be refreshed. The dryer did not work and I needed to fix the wifi because that was not working when we arrived.
The house was situated in a very convenient area, with a grocery store 5 min away, Tesla superchargers 5 min away, hospital/urgent care, and a great coffee place 5 min away. Downtown Portland is easy to drive to although impossible to park in, very glad I went with this house because when you have multiple people with multiple cars you’re gonna want an easy place to park them. The house seems to be in a nice area, it’s a place I’d feel comfortable walking around in after dark. Also the owner is really communicative, helpful if you’ve got a problem or need information. One thing I’d warn people about is the delivery options in the area are pretty meh. But there’s so many good places to pick up food in downtown Portland which is like, 10 minutes away, I’d recommend that instead.
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in Portland! The place was very clean when we arrived, Ryan was extremely communicative about check-in and check-out details, and the amenities themselves were fantastic. The backyard is actually much larger than it appears in the photos. The dining room Is large enough to comfortably have a meal around a full table, and the kitchen is big enough to make one. The house is a bit far to walk into downtown Portland, but the drive is very quick! Due to rain, we weren't able to enjoy the fire pit or outdoor shower but are glad to have an excuse to visit again!
First, I would like to thank Ryan for allowing us to stay. However, we specifically wanted to rent with a property that had two bathrooms because we were at 6 adults. It was listed as such, but found only one. I saw that there was a shower outside the home but it did not indicate as such in the listing. Also, one bedroom did not have an AC so it was very hot. It only had a fan that was blowing hot air because the window was not fully covered so hot air was coming into the room. We had to sleep into the two bedrooms only. Most of the windows on the first floor were not locking so we did not feel safe. Bed sheets were clean but we saw stains in it. I liked that Ryan has a white binder with tips for places to go. That was very helpful. Again, it was good stay overall but can be improved. Thank you
We had a great time having a lobster picnic in the darling backyard complete with fire pit. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Ryan was very responsive to our questions. Check in was a breeze.
The beds were comfortable and the book Ryan made had great recommendations in it and was very thorough!
