The House is situated at Rajaphilla Mawatha one of the prime location in Kandy . It's a silent neighborhood with nice greenery surrounding and the road in front of the house leads up to Kandy lake .

The road where we are located and Kandy lake near by is most prefered places in kandy for recreation activities such as walking , jogging , running in a natural setting.

As Tamils of recent indian origin community in Srilanka we share many cultural similarities to Indians in terms of food ,rituals, religious beliefs, dressing ,festivals entertainment which makes the guest feel homely and comfortable.

We also travel to India very often . We also can speak fluently in English , Tamil and Sinhala . Even the guest is given free access to the shirne room in our house .
In the living area we have a large swing made of solid teak wood as centre piece of attraction which is common in most of the traditional south indian houses .
Although proving food is not included in the package at times we do provide Indian and Srilankan home made food for a nominal fee .

The guest access
The private room is accessable only for the guest. others including the guest in the house will have free access to living / dining area which opens up to the balcony ,private garage and front area .
you can have a free access to host's hindu shrineroom.

The living room has a large heavy wooden swing ( cover photo) as you find in traditional south indians homes and form the centerpiece of attraction . It's made of solid teak wood hunged on metal chains fixed to the slab .
always invoke a sense of vintage charm and helps to spread positive energy at home.
Guest can have access to this swing on request .

Interection with Guests
Our Motto come as a guest and leave as a friend with lasting relationship through genuine cultural experience like a local ( authentic experience ).

We will brief on popular/ preferred tourists places in Kandy and surroundings.

We will brief on places where good hygienic food is available and to buy souvenirs, ornaments etc.

We will help you to to buy srilankan products such as Ceylon Tea, Gems , Batick wear ( dresses ) Arts and Crafts and spices from locals to support local economy sustainability.


As and when there is a possibility we will demonstrate and help you to participate in cooking to prepare both the Srilankan and Indian dishes
