This house is cozy and updated. Kitchen could have been more stocked (example, there was no colander so we couldn't strain our pasta - -and also a lack of large pots.) Additionally, the heating in the home is uneven. The back bedroom gets VERY hot when the heat is on, which was sometimes problematic for our daughter staying that that room - as we needed the heat on, but that room became equivalent to a sauna when we were trying to get the living room temperature up to 70 degrees. Other than that the home was nice and the neighborhood is beautiful.

Overpriced for the quality of the property, especially the front deck which was extra small and not well furnished.

We got together with my best friend and our families in Tahoe and found this property. It was wonderful, the house is perfect size for two families, it has a great kitchen area that has all kitchenware you could need. Living room area has an amazing couch that fits two families perfectly. The front of the house was great, kids played outside, and it was easy to park. Couple of things to note, during winter months we would not advise for travelers to enter from the Ridgewood street, it's too steep and we slipped down on our four wheel drive, you have to go around. The heater is great, but it warms upstairs really well, and not enough in the living room area, recommend putting some space heaters downstairs. Overall it was a great stay!

Home was perfect for our family of four. Kitchen and bathrooms nicely stocked. Very clean and welcoming environment. Great location. Plenty of extra bedding, blankets, and towels. Lovely surprise to find beach chairs because we forgot ours! Only suggestion - it would nice to have a screen door in the master bedroom so I could open without bugs. Would definitely rent again if we go to N Tahoe

Lovely home. Very clean and comfortable. Only suggestion would be needs more plates and glasses. Would eliminate having to wash a half empty dishwasher.

The house was nice, the construction behind the home was not relaxing, started M-F @ 7 am...So bad for a vacation. Also Hot water was scolding, would suggest mixing valve to be code compliant. Overall nice home.

My girlfriends and I spent 7 days in Deerfield Cottage. The location was perfect, on a very quiet street. Plenty of space for all of us to relax. We would definitely stay again.

Deerfield was a quaint little cottage, perfect for a small group or family. The layout was open and kitchen was perfectly stocked. Everything was in perfect working order. The neighborhood was very friendly with many people outside and walking around. The hiking nearby is superb. Warning that the house is up hill, so one cannot walk to the beach or Garwoods safely. Skylandia Beach is a close public option that is really nice for wading in the water. No AC so it can definitely get warm in the summer. Provided fans certainly helped.

Cute little cabin that suited our needs for a family of 4. And a small area in the back to play in the snow.
