The environment cannot be topped. The beach house of Margret is nice, but only partly adapted to real summer heat. An additional air condition would be helpful. The stairs to the sleeping under the roof is very steep and not suitable for people with handicaps. The owners are very friendly and excellent hosts. The village Pleherel la Plage has only one restaurant and an beach café. You need a car to get food in Erquy.

Everything was perfect. The only missing is a dishwasher and big wine glasses 😀. It's a lovely place to be.

Wonderful secluded Gite, quiet location in the gardens of the very friendly family Bridger. We were met by the owner and nothing was too much trouble. The gite was spotless and perfect for our needs, which was a quiet relaxing week by the sea. There are some good local restaurants within walking distance and a well equipped kitchen area in the gite if you prefer to cook the fresh ingredients bought at the local market. We did both. The beach is wonderful and quicker to walk to than to take the car and park. If you are looking for a friendly, quiet gite close to a wonderful beach for a relaxing holiday I would recommend this property and would return without hesitation. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay.

It was a perfect holiday venue, ideal for 2 people. The gite was scrupulously clean and everything was provided ,even cleaning materials. You do, however need to be reasonably agile to use the upstairs bedroom. The outside space was private and provided everything you could want. The owners Margaret and Alan were very easy to get on with and nothing was a trouble. The location is perfect and the village has a traditional boulangerie and a restaurant serving the best moules frites and excellent fish. This together with the fabulous beach only a few minutes walk away made this an excellent holiday home. Richard and Audrey, Durham

Everything mentioned in the write-up is correct from the stunning views to the amazing beaches all within a short stroll. The gite is very comfortable with everything you need and more. The veranda is a great place to eat or just sit and soak up the sun. Great shower and toilet facilities made it feel like a home from home. Eating out is also recommended, there are some top-class restaurants within easy driving distance and the best we found within a short stroll from the gite serving the best muscles-frites I've ever tasted along with a full menu, beers and wine. The markets in nearby towns are worth a visit where fresh produce can be bought. The gite is on the property of the owners, Mags and Allan, who both make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive and were very helpful with advice and shopping etc. This September will be our third visit to the beach house and will certainly not be our last and would recommend a stay here to all.

The gite is situated in the grounds of the owner's own property. It is new, modern, comfortable, very clean and well equipped with a digital TV, washing machine and microwave. It has a double sofa bed downstairs and on an upper level there are two twin beds which were extremely comfortable with lovely new bed linen. The owner supplies towels, tea towels and those little extras such as soap, hand soap, toilet rolls and cleaning products. Double doors open onto a lovely decked area with BBQ, table and chairs, sun lounger and deckchair. A real sun spot to be enjoyed. Walking out of the grounds of the property onto the small green there is a beautifully renovated chapel and stunning views of the sandy beach and Cap Frehel on the horizon. The gite is ideally situated for touring this picturesque area as so many places are within easy reach such as local villages with marinas and sandy beaches and towns such as Saint Brieuc, Dinan, Dinard and Saint Malo. La Fort Latte is only a short drive around the coast from the Cap and is well worth a visit. The area is ideal for walkers and cyclists and there are plenty of places for shopping. Arriving by ferry into Saint Malo gives a 30-40 minute drive to the gite. The owner is welcoming, friendly and helpful but is also respectful of your privacy during your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would definitely stay at the gite again.

Lovely little gite. Run by a lovely family who were very helpful on places to visit and eat. Fabulous beach nearby with a lovely beach bar. And I loved La Clepsydre to eat - great hosts, lovely food and fantastic antique and vintage decor. I loved the holiday - thank you. Karen & James
