Gite rental in the heart of the Loire castles and Beauval zoo.

We loved staying at this location. Excellent communication with the host. It was peaceful and had everything we needed. It was also a great central location for exploring the many chateaux. We recommend.

We had a very nice time in this accommodation. It was the ideal starting point for us to visit various castles along the Loire. We would love to come back and can only recommend it.

Very good, clean, well equipped, quiet. Nice area with easy access to lots of chateaux etc. only suggestion is for better/more indoor seating there is only the sofa, fine for 2 but limited fir 4 people.

This time was a fitst time for us. We did mostly camping and last time B&B. In fact it was way better than we expected. That is the reason to state ´perfect’.

Tastefully decorated and well equipped small gite. It is ideal for two adults, although would be a little cramped for four. The garden is large and has areas of sunshine and shade all day so it was perfect during the heat of the day. The availability of two bikes made trips to the local boulangerie first thing in the morning very easy. A particular bonus for us was a garden fence which was genuinely completely secure so that our very determined little fox terrier could find no escape route.

The property has all the charm you would expect from a rural gite but it is very modern and well equipped. The interior has been very well thought out to maximise the use of space and comfort for guests. The shower and bathroom were excellent. The outside space and wonderful views afforded in this lovely location really added to our enjoyment of staying in this area. The local village and shops are within easy walking distance. It was a great base to explore this beautiful area of France. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with a pot of delicious fresh local honey from their own bees. Had a really great stay at this cosy little gite! Everything you needed was there and very modern. The owner was very Nice very helpful despite the language barrier. Very secluded and peaceful. Would deffinatley come again!

We chose Pontleroy at random to visit the Loire for the first time . The house was very well equipped and renovated to a high standard . Extremely clean and comfortable - good central location to explore - we visited Blois , Chambord , Chenonceaux and Montresor . The owner kindly met us at the property and we managed easily with a little English and French conversation. The cottage is about 15 min walk to the village centre with shop and restaurant and bakers . We visited Jose Marteau vineyards at Thessay to taste wine and were made very welcome there.

Perfect quiet country location for visiting castles, gardens and towns in the area. The cottage was exceptionally clean and we'll appointed for tenants. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. Loved our stay and would definitely return again.
