Gipfel Suite - Himmel Haus Bed & Breakfast

Loved staying here! Was clean, quiet, and beautiful view. Renee was fantastic. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful view overlooking Hermann and hills. Breakfast was fabulous and varied each day. Well lit sidewalks when returning after dark. Many enjoyable conversations with the local folks. Conveniently located near wineries, restaurants, and downtown. Would stay there again.

This has been one of the best places to stay. Renee was in contact the entire time. BREAKFAST was awesome. The atmosphere great. Peaceful. Thanks you.

Gipfel suite was very clean . Beautiful view of the mts. Host was very friendly. Had a delicious breakfast every morning. Great quiet place to get away.

Great stay at Himmel Haus in the Gipfel Suite. The separate entrance for just our room was an added bonus. Clean room and separate bathroom that was also very clean. The shower is beautiful but could use a door, as the water does spray out onto the bathroom floor. The room and common area has all you need to make your stay comfortable. The breakfasts each day were delicious! Never actually met our hostess, Renee, but she was very good at reaching out and responding. One drawback was the TV reception was fuzzy, but didnt didn't have it on very much so not a big deal, but would recommend putting in a Smart TV as an upgrade to the room. Overall a wonderful stay and would come back.

We stayed here while bicycling the Katy Trail. We weren’t prepared for the hills but Renee took pity on us & helped us get around. We visited the Stone Hill Winery cellars. Very interesting. The Himmel Haus is wonderful. We were able to do laundry & Renee even helped fix a flat tire! She fixed us a delicious breakfast before we hit the trail again.

We loved our first trip to Hermann and staying here was a huge part of it. Super easy check-in and communications with the host, breakfasts were delicious and our room was perfect. We’ll definitely be back.

We booked this last minute as a short birthday trip away from home. It was wonderful! So quiet, perfect suite (clean, great mattress, wonderful set up) and excellent breakfast! AND super parking situation! Thanks Renee for a wonderful stay.

Our stay Himmel Haus was perfect. Great location. We could walk into town. The breakfast was amazing. Nice outside patio to enjoy and sip coffee. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a beautiful visit to the Himmelhaus for our 46th Anniversary. Everything was totally above our expectations. Very clean, quiet and wonderful hospitality!!!! Oh, and I can't forget the great breakfasts!!!!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Location was perfect. The hosts were amazing! We absolutely cannot wait to come back.

Spent one night here during a winery event weekend. The room was clean, had everything we needed (toiletries, wine cork, glasses, ect.) Communication with the host was efficient, she asked if we wanted breakfast and let us know when it was in the the common room.

Cute, clean room with private outside door access provided additional privacy for our visit. We enjoyed the breakfast and owner was quick to answer questions.

We loved this B&B and particularly the suite we stayed in. We enjoyed a cozy, private room. Snacks and bottled water were in our room. Breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Visiting with the hostesses was fun. We’re going to take more getaways here in Hermann MO.

It was a nice place and seemed to be in a safe area. Was surprised to see that we were directly under a cell tower, didn't see that in the outside pics of the place. I was a little disappointed that the description in the VRBO add didn't quite agree with what we found, this is the description: (**A local woodworker created the custom cabinet in the Gipfel Suite, which houses the mini-fridge, coffee maker/coffee, a small microwave, toaster, dishes, and basic silverware. This is also where the continental breakfast items will be available in your room upon arrival. This will include such items as pastries, greek yogurt, cereal, milk, fruit, and juice...end of VRBO ad) Our coffee maker didn't work, didn't see a toaster and there were no continental breakfast items in our room at any point. There were a couple bags of little lunch box size doritos and some crackers and 1 single serving box of Puffs cereal (no milk, lol) and two bottles of water. We were asked if we would like breakfast but it would be after 9am and we were gone by that time. A little disappointing but it was clean, safe and the Host answered my texts promply and curtiously. No real complaints, I was just a little disappointed that it was not as the VRBO ad stated. If you're looking for a clean place that is quiet and where you are not bothered by people, this is a nice place to stay. I wish them the best.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! The check in process was so easy, and the owners were quick to respond with questions we had. The morning was so peaceful with such a beautiful view off the back patio. The owners made us a delicious homemade breakfast as well which was such a nice way to end the stay. We would definitely recommend to a friend!

I needed a place to stay to rest well after traveling, this wonderful spot was perfect for resting and enabled me to recover from jet lag quickly. The room was wonderful and quiet, the scenery was amazing (especially the sunset off the back patio), and the breakfast was exquisite! Thankful to everyone who runs this establishment!
