Stayed Dec 1, 2025Very comfortable and well equipped. It’s nice to find a pet friendly property when so many won’t allow them. The house is set on a large plot which affords privacy. Overall a very nice experience.

Stayed Aug 28, 2025Need to know: 2 flights of stairs to enter home. Spiral staircase inside to get to TV room. No TV downstairs. Advertised Smart TV but never got it to work. Messaged owner, and she text us a link to the Roku manual. Advertises Free Wifi but slow or down. Advertises Jetted bathtub but sign on tub says you cannot use it. No instruction or guest book in home. When asked owner, she said another guest probably took it by accident. Disappointed with lack of customer service.

Stayed Apr 26, 2025Quirky and cool house on a large lot with wonderful views of the mountains. Had a great time here with our kids discovering the Mimbres valley and the surrounding areas! House is showing its age a bit but no major issues and the hosts were very responsive and friendly. Definitely a place we would love to come back to!

Stayed Jan 14, 2025We fell in love with this place. The views and sunrises were memorable! I am not a morning person but got up every morning to see the sun rise. We loved the geodome and the interesting features. It was wonderful to have 3 acres of fenced in yard to let the dogs roam. It was perfect for me and my siblings to meet up so our dogs could play.

Stayed Nov 27, 2024What a delightful property to relax and be cozy comfortable in. The best part for us was the accessibility of the interior. I use a walker and need a recliner to sleep in. There was no problem getting around inside. Slight challenge with the outside stairs but they were very sturdy and newly built. Highly recommend this property

Stayed Oct 7, 2024The three of us--my wife and I and our Great Pyrenees--stayed at the dome for five days and loved it. The dome itself is wonderfully spacious and comfortable. Inside, the hosts had provided everything we might need; outside, the deck and three acres of fenced in woodland were perfect for our pooch. The dome is in the Mimbres Valley, within easy driving distance to Silver City and the Lake Roberts area. The surrounding hillsides are lovely, and being out away from the city, the dome is a truly peaceful refuge. And the stars at night--wow! We would gladly stay at the dome again!

Stayed Oct 16, 2024I'd never been to that area of New Mexico before and must say it is lovely. Enjoyed the quiet and beautiful night skies from the deck. Will admit that the spiral staircase was a little too much for us to manage at the end of the day. The geodesic dome is definitely cool.

Stayed May 24, 2024Easy access to Silver City, Gila National Forest, and many other amenities, this unique property provides a perfect home base for your stay in southwest New Mexico! We were a group of four adults - one couple and two singles so the only on-suite bathrooms was a little awkward, but aside from that, the house served all our needs. Since the location is far from restaurants we (easily) provisioned at nearby Silver City Albertsons (there’s a Walmart almost across the street from it, too) and cooked dinners at the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our whole long weekend there. As suggested in the guest book - check out the stars if you get a clear, moonless night! They are truly amazing. We also loved the history of Adam’s Apple (provided on sight). I’m sure that one or more of our original party will be back. We were all incredibly grateful for the experience.
