This property is immaculate. Thought went into every nook and cranny to ensure each guest would be delighted. It felt like home. I loved it so much, i immediately booked again for Fall 2025.

What a truly lovely and welcoming home! The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need and is so homey, beautiful, and comfortable. And of course, the view is spectacular. Warning though, you won't want to leave . . . it's that nice! We'll be back again!

Awesome host, the place was immaculate inside and had everything you would need. It’s close proximity to some of the best trout fishing in the state and hiking trails. You absolutely can’t beat the view. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you to the host!

Danita was an absolutely fantastic host! Great communication, super clean house and every household item we not only needed, but wanted. As others have noted, the house really has the most wonderful location with the beautiful view of Seneca Rocks and stream out back, and is super close to Yokum’s general store and the park visitor center. I also want to add my appreciation for the owner keeping the rental at a reasonable price point and allowing pets at no additional cost…thank you so much for helping us to make great memories in West Virginia!

The entire house was nicely decorated and very clean. The kitchen was spacious and well supplied. The attention to detail even flows into the bathrooms with towels that match the walls and iron towel racks and hooks. The thermostats were modern and easily adjusted. Parking was ample for 2 large vehicles and close to the porch or patio. Everyone in our gathering was very impressed and planning to return in the future.

Nice location for day trips to Dolly Sods, Spruce Knob, Seneca Rocks

The house had an amazingly view of Seneca rocks from the cozy porch to the well furnished living room. We loved the spacious yard and the adorable cat that would visit us in the evenings. Host had everything you could need to a great weekend away.

We had an amazing Anniversary getaway! We wanted to hike and unplug. That is exactly what we got! The view of Seneca Rocks from the patio was absolutely stunning, morning and evening! The fall foliage was just starting so the entire trip was breathtaking. The house was clean and cozy! We will definitely stay again!!!

Very comfortable and in a very desirable location, pretty much in the heart of all the locations we wanted to visit. General store is less than 5 minutes from the house with great affordable breakfast lunch and dinner, also carry anything you need if you were to forget something. Will be staying again.

Amazing view of Seneca Rocks. Spent every morning on the deck and every evening too. House was well supplied with the usual linens and kitchen utensils, but also had jams, syrups, condiments, soaps, shampoo, and first aid kit. TV in all the bedrooms and the living room and basement. The fire pit and the path down to the creek were the cherry on top. I wish our trip was longer and absolutely cannot wait to stay again.

Since I’m from the city I wasn’t sure about the one-lane bridge leading to the property. Turns out that is the entrance and adds to the quaintness.The house was exactly as pictured. Check-in straight forward. Unfortunately the tv in the main room/family room did not work. It was unplugged when we arrived, and after plugging it in we couldn’t get it to work. Assuming basement was recently updated, looks good and hopefully the stairs will be completed soon too.

Hiked in the area, beautiful view, loved the river access after reading about it in the comment book- beautiful views at sunset. House had everything we needed, plenty of towels and extra blankets for the wintertime. Host provided a jar of home made jelly, nice touch! Highly recommend this home.

Fantastic property with a fantastic view; we didn't want to leave and would return in a heartbeat. It's difficult to say what was the best part - but I'll try: the view from the top of seneca rocks where that amazing porch was clearly visible below, followed by relaxing on the porch, beer in hand, gazing up at the rocks.There were many thoughtful touches that made it feel like we were home -- coffee, tea, and well stocked spice cabinet with local maple syrup and jam. They also provide an excellent selection of books and games.Loved the rock bench over rushing Seneca creek, swimming hole at the bottom of the hill, fire pit, and gazing up at the milky way on clear nights.

Very nice place to stay!! Close to everything, but the cabin was amazing!! We enjoyed cooli g hibachi on the blackstone, sitting by a fire and just relaxing outside on the porch watching climbers on senecca rock! Definayely a great place to stay!! My mom loved all the birdhouses and the paintings!!

Madison's Manor was well kept, well stocked with kitchen appliances and amenities, super comfortable, and had the most excellent patio set-up, complete with a Blackstone. And of course it had an excellent view of the rocks plus an outdoor firepit at riverside. We had such a nice stay!

I can't imagine there is a better view of the namesake Seneca Rocks than from the patio and living room of this adorable bird themed property. It was perfect for the 4 of us and our two dogs. As a fledgling birder I really enjoyed listening to all the different birds in the area from the peaceful furnished carport area. My husband fell in love with the blackstone grill available for cooking outdoors, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed for cooking. I LOVED the birdhouse themed room and the decorative wreaths throughout the house. I'm recommending to all my friends that might visit the area.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy relaxing home near Seneca Rocks. Everything was as described and the owner communication was great. The mattresses were especially amazing, I slept like a baby. Everything we needed was there and before leaving we were already discussing our next trip.

very nice - have stayed here multiple times close to alot of great hikes / fishing / beautiful scenery and cool shops.They refinished the basement into another nice area .. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who appreciated the outdoors ...... and for those that don't the house is pretty cool to just hang out in

The home in Seneca Rocks was very nice and clean. Very quiet and peaceful. The view and grounds were very nice also. Our host had everything that was needed to make your stay comfortable. All pictures were accurate on the website. The last night of our stay the wind blew very hard and knocked the power out and we found some items to help with that. Would highly recommend staying here.

Had extremely pleasant stay here. Property was equipped with plenty of offerings. The location of the cabin is so beautiful that it accurately describes posting. This place would be as beautiful in any season. This review is mostly based on indoor stay as we travelled during December holidays but there are things to do outside cabin also like grilling, campfire etc. This place gives vibe to visit again and again. The only recommendation for future guests is to carry own drinking/cooking water (which should not be hard to get as well since Yokum’s grocery store is real close)

The home is lovely; so warm and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked. We loved the view of Seneca Rocks from the living room and the sound of the river was a special treat. Being able to bring our dogs was one reason we chose this home.

Very warm and welcoming property with all that was needed for a much needed reset for our family. Lots of warm fuzzy blankets during the cold weather of West Virginia. We will look to rebook in the summer time!

This is hands-down the best rental we’ve ever had in the Seneca Rocks area. We travel to the area every Fall for trout fishing and will be renting this house again! The pictures do not do it justice. The house is beautiful and the decorations inside are well thought out. It is so peaceful. The view of Seneca Rocks from the living room windows is unbelievable!! The house is well stocked - it even has lots of cozy blankets, which I loved! We also enjoyed the outside fire pit. You won’t regret booking this house!

The home was well appointed. Everything you could want or need and more. The Blackstone Griddle was a surprise that we took advantage of. Like being home, but with a great view of Seneca Rocks. If we are ever in the area again we would not hesitate to stay there again.

We loved our stay here. The house is awesome and very clean. We loved eating outside and enjoyed the views of Seneca. The ax throwing game in the basement was a family favorite. I plan to buy the same one for us. I would recommend this place to anyone and we are looking at coming back again in the spring.

This property was an unexpected A+. If you are traveling with a dog you are accustomed to dealing with slightly subpar properties in order to keep your furry companions close. However this was not the case. I have never stayed at a VRBO that was this homie and pet friendly. We will definitely be back.

Great place! Outstanding covered patio area facing unbeatable Mountain View. Very spacious yard just above a stream. The house is well appointed with all sorts of little homey touches. Great selection of games and books. Everything modern and very clean. We will remember this place very fondly!

My husband and I stayed in this little home to use as a base for exploring the Seneca Rocks-Dolly Sods-Spruce Knob area. The house is very clean and comfortable, and is stocked with everything you’ll need. It has a gorgeous view of Seneca rocks. The location is quiet and secluded. There is a large covered patio area with grill and blackstone griddle and comfortable seating (and a friendly neighborhood cat visits regularly). The sound of the creek nearby completes the relaxing experience. The owner was very easy to communicate with and answered any questions quickly. Would 10/10 recommend this for families and couples alike! You will not be disappointed to use this as a base for your adventures in this gorgeous area of West Virginia!
