I can't say enough good things about this house and about the owner. **10 out of 5 stars!**It's out in the countryside with the most BEAUTIFUL views you can imagine. But it's less than 10 minutes to a little town with a big grocery store. Perfect setting for letting go of stress and finding some peace. The house is extremely SPACIOUS. The kitchen is huge. The bedrooms are all big: plenty of room for a king size beds (or two singles) without feeling squeezed in. Our cats felt safe and comfortable here right away, and that was a huge comfort after their long journey. It sounds cheesy, but the owner, Mark, treated us more like friends than customers. He responded to questions immediately. He was always ready to help - he went way above any expectations I had. And I felt like he genuinely cared about us having as smooth a time as possible. He made checking in and checking out super easy. He went to a lot of trouble to make sure the Wi-fi worked. He was super flexible about the length of stay. He even shared information and tips to help us as Americans learning new ways of doing things (like using an immersion heater before taking a hot shower). The cleaner, Natasha, keeps the house spotless. We've rented many temporary houses for holidays, and this is by far the best experience we've had. If you're considering a stay in Ireland and you want somewhere beautiful, relaxing, and spacious, BOOK THIS HOUSE. Especially if you want a place that welcomes pets.

So fortunate to find this lovely home to stay at. We were in from the US to attend a family wedding in Gorey and the size, amenities, bed & Bath count were perfect for our family of 7 adults! Clean with beautiful views of the mountains!
