The home is tidy and welcoming for your arrival - you have the place completely to yourselves. The house is older but loved by my family and so many return visitors. We feel it’s a welcoming coastal home to escape to with your family and friends and beloved pets also. It has creature comforts of Wi-Fi/Smart tv and a selection of toys and books to entertain the family. It's close to the main village, beaches and parks of San Remo. Check in time is from 2.00pm and check out is by 10.00am.Please read the full description of all areas below.

The home is split level with views overlooking San Remo. It is a 5 minute walk to the village and a short walk to Westernport Bay. We take great pride in having people stay and return again and again to the property. 3 bedrooms with queen beds. All linen & towels provided. Free fast Wi-Fi & smart tv supplied. The kitchen is clean and tidy with an electric stove and a BBQ on the deck. Pet friendly inside and out with a fully fenced yard with a 120cm high gate.

Once you enter the front door there are 3 bedrooms off the hallway. The bathroom (that has a shower unit only as photographed), separate toilet and laundry are also off the hallway. The kitchen, dining and lounge area is open plan up 5 steps from the hallway. The balcony is off the dining area space with outdoor seating to enjoy the views and sunset over San Remo. Please refer to photos as they are photographed to show all spaces.

Location
Our house is in a quiet residential street close to shops, cafes, beaches and parks.
It’s a short walk to the front beach and shopping village of San Remo where there is a supermarket, butchers, restaurants, cafes, pubs, specialty shops and of course the famous Fisherman’s co-op where there is the world famous pelican feeding every day at 12.00pm. Make sure you get fish and chips from there also. An hour to Melbourne's south eastern suburbs and 2.5 hours to Melbourne Airport.

Families
The house is perfect for all. The bedrooms are located together which is ideal for younger families. There is a porta cot and high chair supplied and a small selection of toys, books and games. Due to 5 steps please be mindful of small children using the steps.

Couples / Friends
The house sleeps 6 in 3 queen beds. Perfect for an escape with friends for a short weekend or a longer stay.

Bedrooms
Our home comfortably sleeps 6 adults in queen beds and porta cot for an infant and high chair supplied for your families needs. There are 3 bedrooms each with queen beds made up with fresh linens, coverlets and extra blankets for the colder nights. Each queen bed has bedside tables and lamps. Each bedroom has a wardrobe with hanging space and shelving and a portable heater and fan for different times of the year if needed. The bedrooms have block out blinds perfect for a sleep in, for kids to sleep during the day or to keep the heat of summer or cold of winter out. The 3rd bedroom has a standard tv and DVD player perfect for a quiet night in or to let the kids have a retreat.

Kitchen
The kitchen is located upstairs for a simple getaway. There are enough pots / pans / kitchen items to use in this home. The stove is electric. There is a small pantry with all your crockery and kitchen needs. The home comes with kitchen staple items such as cleaning items, all food wraps, salt and pepper, oil, utensils, kids plates and bowls.

Lounge
The lounge has 2 x 3 seater sofas with washable covers. There are also separate lounge chairs and ottomans for seating. The coffee table houses board games, we just ask you to put them back after your stay. There is a selection of books in the bookcase and toys for young children under the bench. Again we ask you to put it away at the end of your stay.

Dining
The dining table comfortably sits 6 and there are 2 stools at the kitchen bench

Bathroom
There is a shower unit and vanity in the bathroom as photographed. A set of towels for all guests along with bath mats and hand towels are supplied for your stay in the bathroom vanity.
The hot water is electric and will reheat overnight. If all guests have long showers the hot water will run out but will reheat for the next morning. This is common in any house in the area. There is a gentle reminder stating this in the bathroom. There is a hairdryer supplied.
The toilet is separate to the bathroom next door.

Laundry
The laundry has a top loading washer. We have washing detergent there for your use. Please turn on the water taps before using the washing machine. There is a clothes line with pegs under the balcony in the back yard and a clothes airer in the front hall cupboard. The ironing board, iron and vacuum is also in the front hall for your use if needed. There is a stick vacuum for smaller clean ups in the laundry on the wall.

Balcony
The balcony has chair seating overlooking San Remo, the bridge and glimpses of the bay. The BBQ is also located here - however in winter we do take it down under the balcony for cover from the elements. Please do not sit on the railing - it’s there as a safety barrier, not as a seat.

Backyard
Our house is pet friendly with a fully fenced yard for your pet to enjoy also. It’s mainly a lawn with a small garden bed along the back fence. One fence has support struts due to the weight of our elderly neighbours vertical garden on the other side. We love him so don’t mind supporting his love affair of gardening.
The gate is over 120cm high and secure for pets of all sizes - from a teacup poodle to an Irish wolfhound, I don’t think there is a breed we haven’t had !

Garage
The garage is not to be used to park cars- there is more than enough room in driveway for cars.
As our children have grown we converted the garage into a play room and retreat with couches, a table for use, a second fridge and beach items such as a beach trolley, boogie boards, umbrella, and some backyard games. Please use as your own but please rinse all sand from items in backyard with hose provided and return to where you found them. This space is classed as a backyard room and nothing fancy but clean and tidy and there for your use if needed x

Pets
We love that you can bring your beloved pet. The house is pet friendly but prefer if you bring their own bed to use - there is a water bowl on the back deck for use. We ask that you clean up after your dog at the end of your stay. As the lawns are maintained it's easy to see if anything is left by your dog.

Guest access
Your keys will be located at the property in a key safe. This means you can check in after 2pm at any time that suits you on the day of your stay. At the end of your stay you simply leave the keys in the key box. Please use the lockbox to store keys so that less chance of lost keys etc.

Other things to note
The house is split level. It has 5 steps into the front door and 5 steps with handrail up to living areas. The fence is 120 cm from the backyard to the driveway.
We do not take bookings for schoolies if we find a booking has been made and with no parental supervision we will cancel booking immediately and notify Airbnb that no refund is to be made. There is air conditioning and heating in living areas and heaters and cooling fans provided in each bedroom. The house is really cool in summer and warm in winter due to it being split level and uses the environment for breeze in summer and warmth of sun in the winter x

    This is the perfect place to holiday with dogs. Everything was easy, the house had everything necessary for a comfortable stay and the views were incredible!Great central location to access Phillip Island, Inverloch, Wilson's Prom, etcSally was so accomodating and helpful - made for a brilliant holiday.     Lovely, comfortable house with a huge backyard for our dog to chase his ball! Loved that each of the 3 bedrooms had a queen size bed! Perfect location offering an easy walk to the local San Remo shops and short drive to fabulous dog beach. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend.

    We stayed 4 nights and were very comfortable. The house is nice and clean and within walking distance to the shops. Our dog also enjoyed being allowed inside with us and having room to run around in the backyard. Plenty of eating options also. Thanks for your hospitality Sally.
