Stayed Apr 8, 2022This was closer to 290 than expected and literally across the street from a winery. The place has high end furniture and super quiet. Does need a fire pit by the BBQ area. Only thing was lack of towel hook by shower and sink. A background/criminal check is a little overboard and not upfront in listing. Overall it is super nice, clean, and we would come back to rent both houses with more friends.

Stayed May 7, 2021Simply magical location if you enjoy privacy. The courtyard with cafe lights provided a beautiful backdrop as the sun was setting. The house and adjoining properties are all high quality and beautifully decorated. The location is only a few miles from amazing vineyards and close to downtown.

Stayed Mar 6, 2026We had a wonderful stay at the Gateway Gathering House. The location was perfect — close to wineries and town, yet very quiet and peaceful. The property itself is beautiful and well maintained, making it a relaxing place to unwind and enjoy the Fredericksburg area.Most importantly for our family, my son uses a wheelchair and we were very happy with the accessibility of the home and property. It made the stay comfortable and stress free for us, which we truly appreciated.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Stayed Mar 15, 2025I moved my sister to Fredericksburg, this place was perfect! I gave my Mom and me a place to unwind and enjoy some peace outside of the chaos of the move. Very clean, very roomy, check-in & out was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this and plan to stay again for my next trip. Thanks for everything!

Stayed Jan 31, 2025The house was perfect for us. There is also another house that shares a common area that would be great if you had 4 couples traveling together. The whole property is beautiful and a perfect set up for 4 couples to spend a weekend or longer visiting the wineries or sightseeing.

Stayed Dec 5, 2024My son and daughter-in-law planned a trip to Fredericksburg to explore the wineries, and we stayed at this wonderful property for the first time. What a hidden gem! The place was spotless, had plenty of amenities, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The layout was perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location couldn’t have been better, and the price was very reasonable. It truly made our trip even more special. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to stay here and will definitely look to book this property again. Highly recommend!

Stayed Nov 1, 2024My husband and another couple stayed at Gateway Gathering House for the weekend. We had tickets to a show in Luckenbach and our cabin was less than 5 min. away. A quick 10 min drive to Main Street for a day of window shopping and great food. Gateway Gathering is gorgeous and so peaceful. We look forward to staying there again.
