Gated + Private: Dtwn Houston Home 8 Mi to NRG

It was a good location. Easy to park. Noted to owner some minor issues.

Felt this house needs some maintenance. The blinds don’t open and are broken, 2 of the sink handles for cold water don’t work, the attempt to touch paint is done with a different color so the walls don’t look clean, not a complete set of dishes or silverware so if there were six of us there was not enough…the shower heads need a deep cleaning or replacement bc the hard water has it squirting in all directions, overall an average place to stay but convenient for what we were there for…

The house is in a perfect location, just a few miles from our daughter who lives and works in the Texas Medical Center. Great communication from the host for check in and for other extraneous items. The house is clean and welcoming. My wife was able to cook a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner for us and we were able to have the dinner with our daughters. We would definitely stay her again.

The kitchen was fully equipped, very spacious and clean.

Beautiful property. Very clean and secure. 3 x levels with a bedroom on each. 2 full bathrooms. Garage parking for 1 car. Amazing kitchen and living room. Netflix etc included on TV. Check in was so easy and host always available for questions. Perfect location if you have a vehicle which we did. Loved our stay!!

Location and apartment were Fine. It would be easy to make it Good with these two simple, but important improvements: provide a few usable pans & cooking utensils for cooking (not badly scratched teflon and melted black plastic spoons and ladles). Dust the fan in the bedroom on the first floor, the dust was deep so we didn't use. A few other bedroom areas could use dusting as well. These small improvements would have meant alot to us.

We enjoyed our stay. The property could use a little tlc. Some broken furniture and dishwasher had dirty dishes in it on arrival. Neighborhood was in transition and not exactly walkable. That being said, the host answered our questions promptly and facilitated a late check out for us.

Came in for rodeo and see some sites. Friends came from Pa. Home was as described, contact/ owner Andy was on top of his game. Lots of steps lol. Was a great staycation. Will do this again.

The description of the property did not indicate that it is a 3 story building. The walls could use paint - they were dirty and marked up. The small closet in the middle bedroom was not useable since there were things such as a vacuum stored in it.

We came to Houston from Ohio for my granddaughters gymnastic competition. We were concerned about the location as there was a lot of serious police issues each day we were there. The grocery store was also in a not so great area with stron police presesnce every time we went. The home also appeared to have been lived in as there was used food in the cupboards (opened containers), as well as dirty laundry upstairs under the bathroom sink.

Perfect for us to work and access to the events for the Stagg Bowl

Property interior is not as bright as photos. The blinds could not open or raise up therefore not allowing natural sunlight to enter. The furniture in the bedrooms need updating the cookware and utensils as well needs to be replaced.

Slow draining sink in upstairs bathroom, one of the cold handle on the faucet did not work, very hard to turn. The bed had crumbs in it and I did not eat food in any of the bedrooms.The home was very dusty, and the vents in the upstairs bathroom were dirty, as well as the ceiling fan.

We were in Houston for mY daughter’s graduation from UH. This place was perfect for our family and location was great. 5 mins to UH. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will keep it in mind for our next trip.

Overall the place was in decent to good shape. Photos were representative of what we saw on the listing. No frills or thrills. Communication with host was easy and accessible before and after the stay. Location was central to where we needed to go so all pluses for this location. Some cleaning misses - coffee in the coffee pot that was growing mold, sheets in the rooms smelled like dish washing soap- it was clean just had a very pungent soap odors, some yellow stains on the bed sheets. And hair in the bathroom showers. I’d stay here again.

We worked a trade show at the convention center. It was very easy traveling back and forth. Neighbors were nice. Quiet area. We would have preferred a colder temperature in the house closer to 70. Could have been more thoroughly cleaned but we would stay here again. Very convenient for location.

Great property with southern hospitality!

House was semi-clean… walls, doors etc need a good cleaning. Land Lord contact asked us before we even check into the house if we had rented a movie… odd. Communication was only through text and the individual would not answer his phone when we had issue trying to find the exact houses location. There was already a car in the garage so parking was limited to the street which is in the ruffer part of town. House was way further away than what it showed on the website.

I just wanted to say we enjoyed our stay at your home so much that we've told friends and family to check it out if ever in the area.
