    Dan went over and above to make us feel welcome! He left food and snacks for our arrival and offered early checkin and late checkout to help make our travels as smooth as possible. The house is very clean and well stocked with any supplies you will need. Lots of towels, comfortable beds and an amazing kitchen. The kitchen has everything appliance you will need and plenty of dishes, glasses and pans. We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner for 12 and borrowed only a very few items from local relatives. We will definitely stay here again when returning to San Antonio! I've stayed in many rentals in San Antonio and highly recommend this property as one of the best I've experienced and Dan as probably the best host we've had.

    The host was so welcoming and helpful. The home was wonderfully clean and comfortable. Great home for families to spend time relaxing and/or as a starting place for sightseeing and learning about the local area. Highly recommended!

    The property manager was quick to respond to all of my messages. After finding out we were traveling, there was snacks waiting on us in the fridge so we could relax some after we arrived. One of the best property managers / owners I've ever worked with.

    We came in to bury my Mother, and from the time of our initial contact, Dan made our time of grieving a much easier one. As we were traveling over night, he made sure our accomodations were ready and easy to check in. He even went above and beyond and had breakfast and lunch for our arrival ready for us. His communications with me where second to none. My only regret is that I didn't get to meet him and shake his hand, thank you Dan!

    This house was nicely equipped. The beds were comfortable. It was located in a good part of town from which to explore northern SA. We will definitely look into this property's availability when we come back next year.

    Extremely clean and well furnished home. We enjoyed our stay. Construction on 281 makes travel in and out of subdivision frustrating. Would definitely stay again after 281 work is done.

    My wife and I stayed for three months at Dan's residence. We used to live in the area and the house is perfectly situated in the Far Northside/Stone Oak/Timberwood Park area with quick access to 281 and amenities likes parks, restaurants, grocery, and retail - that area is growing and will only get better once the 281 freeway is finished in the next year or so. The home is laid-out well with an office and two smaller bedrooms at the front of the house and the master bedroom, living room and kitchen in the back of the house. This way I could work in the office without disturbing my spouse. We took advantage of everything in the house - the small patio out back with an electric grill, the High-Efficiency washer/dry combo in the laundry room and pretty much every appliance in the kitchen - including the wine fridge. The house is well-appointed - you shouldn't have to bring anything with you. The check-in process was seamless even during the pandemic. We felt safe and well looked after by Dan. Dan was incredibly responsive (30 minutes or less response time - day or night) - before, during, and after our stay. We were at the house during the historic 2021 Winter Snow storm that hit Texas. We never lost power or Internet, but we did have pipes freeze in the garage. Dan's brother came out within 24 hours (less than a day after the snow hit) to unthaw the pipes and get our water back running. We lost water a couple of more times, but more due to the local water and power utility - nothing to do with the house. Through out everything, Dan was communicative with us to keep us up-to-date as events developed. It's this kind of commitment to guest service that really stood out to us. If we can do another retreat with Dan and this property, we would more than do it again. We would recommend this property and Dan to our parents, friends, and family.

    Better than the comfort, functionality, and location of the home is the host. Dan is absolutely engaged with you and your comfort in the process and stay in the home. His communication exceeded expectation in that he was prompt and/or would give you an idea of when and how he would communicate (he used the mode of communication that was best for me...text, email, or phone dependent upon time of day). Finally, he was extremely flexible and understanding. We had a couple of unplanned issues that caused for a need to extend our stay. He made the process seamless and quick, which relieved a ton of stress. I'd recommend this home, but especially Dan as the host (i.e. any property that he manages) as short and long term stay to friends and family.
