Perfect for a small family getaway weekend.
Nice little place to spend the weekend. Great communication from the host.
It’s was a beautiful home. Beds could of been a little more comfortable but overall it was a nice stay
Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean and cozy. The location was perfect for being able to visit family in the area.
We stayed at Galeton Overlook for the first time and found it to be very relaxing. The property was maintained and clean. We really enjoyed sitting out on the covered front porch. It rained fairly hard, but the porch stayed dry. Management personnel were very responsive to questions we had and thoroughly communicated with us. We found the kitchen well-equipped, the beds comfortable, and whole home inviting. The only cons to Galeton Overlook is the only AC is a window unit located on the staircase and the downstairs bathroom is very, very small and not handicapped accessible even though the shower is. As far as the AC is concerned, the home did cool down by our 2nd day there with the AC on high and the bedroom and dining ceiling fans running. There needs to be a fan in the living room as well to help with the cooling. We unfortunately couldn't open the windows due to high humidity and smoke from the Canadian Wildfires. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope to return!
