Gala House with views overlooking lakes and Vernon in North Okanagan

Breathtaking view, all the conveniences of home and fully equipped kitchen. Lots of towels and very spacious. Thanks to our hosts for a wonderful getaway! We will be back !!

Great place! A little more attention to detail to get 5 stars. ie : screen in coffee maker clogged so had to coffee just dribbled out till I soaked in vinegar and scrubbed kosher salt in shaker , so too big to come through holes ! ( yes - I’m being picky ) Cupboard shelves clean but need shelf paper to look clean. Toaster, coffees maker, frying pans needed a more thorough cleaning I’m maybe making it sound worse than it was. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Patrick was very easy to communicate with and the Gala House was a lovely stay. We enjoyed walking the property and the beautiful view from the living room, deck and hot tub. A perfect space for our group of 6 and an excellent location between Vernon and SilverStar. Would definitely stay again.

We could not have found better hosts anywhere. So warm and friendly, very attentive and so helpful. The Gala House was spotless with such amazing views and so comfortable and while large still so cozy. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Enjoyed the high ceilings upstairs, the charm and being in the country. Was a super place to come home to after a superb wedding and events. Would definitely book again but in the winter for skiing at Silver Star.

This is probably the most beautiful property we've stayed at in BC. We got married this past weekend and this was the perfect home to prep for the occasion. The view from the property is stunningly beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. I would recommend this home to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay. Patrick’s property is beautiful and the town has gorgeous views of lake, mountains and plateaus.The house was spacious and neat and clean.

The Gala House is a lovely space with unique charm and a beautiful view. A great place to relax for a few days, and a nice perk that there is access to the Grey Canal Trail right beside the property.

This home was the perfect venue for our girls weekend away. Large kitchen and table, nice big bedrooms, and big washroom too. Loved walking around and watching the animals. And the view off the deck is spectacular. Hosts are lovely and great at communication. Check in was easy.

Wonderful restored house with beautiful views, close to the town of Vernon, but in the country. We settled in the well-appointed home easily and found it quite comfortable for our stay. The beans and grinder and patio chairs were a great touch. Walking through the orchard and admiring the farm animals was the perfect send off. Thank you for a great stay.

This is our second visit. So good, we had to come back. And things got better since last time! A brand new, big dining table has been added, which was a wonderful surprise for us. Quiet area. Nice, dark nights. I'll be back!

Clean, cozy, and an affordable convenient option for our purpose of visiting Sovereign Lakes Nordic for a ski weekend. Spacious kitchen, living room with gas fireplace and lovely view. We very much enjoyed our stay!

A wonderful meeting of family and fun days of skiing. Spaghetti dinner, cards and scrabble. Bliss.

Great views. Quiet & serene. Unique heritage home that’s been renovated nicely. Lots of amenities in the kitchen, even whole coffee beans to use in a grinder for French press coffees. Lots of room, fit us 4 adults comfortably. Close enough to zip to town or head up to Silverstar. So thankful we could bring our little family dog with us. Having one bathroom wasn’t an issue as it’s set up with a separate toilet, 2 sinks then a shower plus a lovely decent sized tub. I’d highly recommend.

Overall the property was nicely kept and very nice. We only had 3 people staying so there was ample room for all of us. What would have made this stay better would have been written instructions for working the fireplace and the tv as we were unable to get these to work.

We had a great time staying in this lovely home for the week. Rooms and beds for everyone. Lots of extra space throughout the house. And the single bathroom was hardly a problem thanks to it's spacious and private layout. Will definitely find this place again when travelling to Vernon.

A nice space. One bathroom but with a separate toilet room makes things a little easier. Nice walking trails and a quick drive from town.

The TV did not work for our 4 day stay and Patrick the owner resolved issue, previous renter logged onto their Netflix account. Definitely need a car for mountain location. Owner provided us with freshly picked apples from the orchard :^)

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed ourselves very much (2 adults and 1 senior). The property was clean and the listing is accurate. It is fairly private and very quiet (owners live in the neighbouring house). The property is very quaint with a small family farm feel... But it's the view from the deck that is the wow factor for this listing... Just amazing! The sunsets were spectactular. The owners were very friendly and even left us some fresh apples from their orchard. Shopping and restaurants are 10 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

This lovely heritage house has a relaxed and welcoming feel with wonderful views of both Okanogan Lake and Kalmalka Lake. The house is well equipped, very comfortable and charming. The hosts are so easy to chat with and provided all the information needed for our stay.

This was the perfect spot for our whole family to stay.
