Gables at Long Beach

Beautiful home and well presented! We had a lovely few days and we didn’t want to leave. Lots of things to explore and it’s amazing how many kangaroos we saw. The beach is a very short walk from the home.

Spent a cracking weekend at the Gables - a fab, well organised property in a lovely location. Trevor our host was tip top and made our stay an absolute pleasure!

Outstanding home that’s full of charm! The Gables had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a slow cooker, blender and an Aldi coffee machine (pods can be purchased locally at the Bateman’s Bay Aldi). There is a comprehensive collection of books, games and DVDs. While there is no local shop in Long Beach, Batemans Bay is a 10 minute drive away down the Princes Highway and has Woolworths, Coles and Aldi. Trevor was incredibly kind, welcoming and responsive. We loved this house and we will be back.

Everything was wonderful- the house, the town , the bush nearby, the kangaroos at the back fence, liaising with the owner.

Pet friendly, perfectly appointed, quiet, very clean, water views. Exactly as advertised. A pleasure to visit.

Trevor has presented a beautiful property in a lovely location - a home away from home. Great kitchen, everything you would want to use has been included. It was an extremely comfortable stay for our family of 4 and two dogs. One of the best pet friendly accommodations we have stayed at. Bonus was having a tiled room downstairs that was gated enabling a safe place for our dogs whilst we enjoyed the comforts of the many relaxing spots in the house and decks. Fully fenced backyard that was secure for our Jack Russell and Dachshund. Long Beach is an easy 10-minute drive to the center of Batemans Bay and there are lovely walks nearby, including timed access to the local beach for dogs. Trevor always responded promptly to any queries we had. It is easy to see why the Gables has such a high occupancy. We hope to come back.

Wow! What an amazing home. After a very long drive , I unlocked the door and my jaw dropped. So beautiful styled, quality beds, exceptionally clean. The bird life outstanding and with the fire lit, a glass of red in hand, truely felt like you were taken away to somewhere special. Can’t wait to return. Just fyi, do your own groceries in Batemans Bay and cook at home. Bbq affords excellent views of the sea, and trust me, you will want to get use out of the house. Just fab!

Amazing home and the most gracious host.The house is impeccably clean and maintained. Views are stunning from the breakfast nook with ample wildlife. House is exactly as described if not better, really a lovely home.

Very clean, well equipped and had plenty of space. The host was great with passing on all the information. I would definitely be staying there again, we all loved the house, felt like our own home away from home.

What a beautiful find! Our stay at The Gables was amazing! It truly is a little piece of paradise. We loved every aspect of our stay. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. We were left bird feed along with vitamins and grit for them to enjoy. The weather was perfect with some rain which was perfect for gazing into the bush! All communication with Trevor was excellent and check in a breeze. Our border Collie loved the secure backyard and her swims at the beach nearby. We are already planning to go back! This property is top quality - it has a very well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and heaps of space. The downstairs room would be most suitable for children to play. An added attraction was the kangaroos and wallabies over the back fence.

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Gables and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place. Surrounded by peaceful bushland, the home offered total serenity – the ideal setting to relax and unwind. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the beautifully styled interiors to the little touches that made us feel so welcome. Sitting on the deck with our morning coffee, listening to the birds and soaking in the natural beauty, was such a special way to start each day. We loved everything about our stay and highly recommend Gables for a tranquil escape. We can’t wait to return!

Gables is an amazing holiday home in a fantastic location that fully deserves it's 10/10 rating.Trevor & Chris have put a lot of effort into maintaining an excellent property with beautiful bush views, walking distance to Maloney's beach, large and well appointed rooms... we loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Very pleased with the spacious house, great facilities and cleanliness. Just a short walk to the awesome Maloneys beach and other lovely beaches, especially beautiful at sunrise and just before sunset. We loved our stay and were sad to leave, and hope to return for another very relaxing visit. Highly recommended.

Perfect house and location, we loved our stay at Gables! The house was well equipped and was super comfortable. Our grandkids had plenty of space to play. We also had our own space to relax with garden views and kangaroo's visiting. The beach is also close enough to walk too which was an added bonus. We will definitely be back asap!!

Gables is the place you want to head to for a weekend away close to nature and quiet. Looking forward to more stayz at Gables. It's worth the drive.

Had a great time

Well maintained accommodation with all needs catered for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Was a great base for the Murramarang South Coast walk (the remaining the short uphill from Maloneys did test our exhausted legs though :))

The Gables provided rest as soon as we entered. The bush outlook is so calming & the house itself is spacious & clean with delightful areas to sit & take it all in, Thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

We stayed here before, about 13 years ago. The place still looks great, and is very comfortable. Had more opportunity this time to explore the area. A very nice bit of coast, with beaches and cliffs. So very good all-round

From the point of booking, communication was thorough and accurate. Telling us everything we would need to know ahead of, during and after our stay. The house was exactly as it looked from the profile. Located just a few minutes walk from the beach and a cute local cafe it was exactly what we needed for a weekend away. Would definitely stay here again

House was a good big size. Walk down a bit of a hill to the waters edge. Our stay was a good relaxing few days.

A last-minute booking turned up this gem. Perfectly presented with everything and more, wonderful host, incredibly comfortable beds and generous provisions. It felt rather like being loaned a friend's holiday house. We'd love to have been able to stay longer. The slow combustion fire made for a cosy atmosphere. Walking distance to beaches and looking out onto the bush behind. Very relaxing.
