Furnished Decks & Grill: Peaceful Pioneer Home!

First and foremost this house is GORGEOUS! It’s secluded and so peaceful, I would 100% recommend this place. It’s perfect because we were in the middle of a lot of places (placerville, Lake Tahoe, etc). One thing I will say that it wasn’t as clean as we thought it would be but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t just fix. Another downfall was we were at peak fire season so we couldn’t go downstairs and make some smores ?. Regardless the place was amazing, so amazing I’m looking into real estate now ?

Our second time staying at this Pioneer home. Thoroughly enjoyed both times. Very relaxing. This time we spent daytime hours on the back deck watching the birds in the trees behind the house and nighttime hours stargazing. The house is wonderful and we will return again in the future.

Everything was excellent about our stay, except the power went out for about 4 hours due to the power company. The house and grounds are beautiful and clean. There is a fun swing for the kids outside. Inside, the kitchen is large and there is a wonderful view of the trees. It’s a beautiful place.

This property was everything and more than we had hoped for! Perfect for our family gathering with our growing family! The house was clean,clean, beautiful and well stocked. My wife did not get a preview of where we were staying and when she saw the house from the street she says Wow.....now that is a beautiful house I chuckled inside and when I turned in the driveway the look on her face was priceless. This house was amazing. We enjoyed every bit of it. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful vacation.

This is a well-appointed relatively new house. This home was clearly built for owner occupancy with high-end details such as arched doorways, vaulted ceilings in the large common room, along with recessed ceilings in the dining room. The house has lots of light and is a comfortable place to hangout. The fixtures and appliances are high quality, not typically seen with rental properties. The kitchen is fully appointed for any type of meal prep (even a blender and baking pans with a nice range with a powerful hood fan). The master bedroom and master bath are large and luxurious. Relatively fast WiFi and a YouTube TV subscription were nice pluses for a long weekend away. There’s a deck with BBQ overlooking the backyard where there is a swing and a horseshoe setup.The downsides are:- Aside from hiking and a cool local cavern (Black Chasm) there isn’t much to do outside the house in the area.- those who are sensitive to pet odor may detect that a dog has lived there (though only a slight smell). we didn’t see any pet fur or hair.

We had an amazing time! My husband and I, along with our furry baby, stayed here for three nights, and it was the perfect mini getaway. Lisa was very accommodating, allowing us to check in early. The home is beautiful and fully stocked. We explored the lakes and, to our delightful surprise, there was still some snow! Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

This stay was everything we could have hoped for! Lisa was super attentive and was always available for any questions we had. The property is beautiful and really gave us that get away in the mountains feel we were looking for. We even got a little bit of snow ❄️ Definitely recommend this property and look forward to booking again in the future

We absolutely loved our stay at Big Sky. We all felt at home and it was a great home base for our ski weekend at Kirkwood. Would definitely come back!
