Stayed Oct 3, 2025Wonderful quaint & house in a nice, quiet location. Very convenient while visiting the surrounding towns—especially watkins glen and corning. Walkable to ice cream, the lake, and eateries. Spacious kitchen and bathrooms. A smart booking for the Wineglass marathon and other events (less traffic).

Stayed Feb 21, 2025My husband and I (mid 60's) brought my parents (late 80's) up for a dinner concert at Family Life Ministries in Kanona. We had a lovely time in this very clean and well maintained home. There were a lot of niceties, to include a fresh, small container of coffee for the drip coffee pot. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and lovely plate-ware. It was winter and windy, but the house is snug and there were no drafts. I would highly recommend this property.

Stayed Aug 8, 2024Pros: Great location walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. Nice kitchen and living room. Cons: We found multiple dirty dishes in the cabinet with mouse droppings on them. I messaged the host and received no reply. The bedroom doors and stairs were extremely creaky and loud. Any movement will wake up the whole house. The shower knob does not work properly and it is only possible to get extremely hot water or cold water. Nothing in between.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lake Daze is a beautiful place to stay. An older looking house on the outside gives way a thoroughly updated inside. Very clean with modern conveniences. It’s a short walk to town and close to everything in Hammondsport. Highly recommended; will stay here again on our next trip there.

Stayed Jun 27, 2024A beautiful house that has just about eveything you need for a relaxing vacation. The neighborhood is super quiet and you can easily walk into town for shops, coffee and dining. The kitchen was fully equipped and the house was spotless. Upstairs bathroom door sticks, which could wake sleeping guests ?♀️. Driveway is quite small, not sure 2 cars can fit without blocking the sidewalk, but there seems to be off street parking if needed. Bedrooms are good size and beds are very comfortable with extra bedding and pillows if needed. Each bedroom has window air-conditioning ? as well as in the living room. Front porch is a great place to begin or end your day. All in all a great place to stay! ???
