Stayed Apr 7, 2026This fun place is on a one-way street. Parking was easy and always available in front. There was plenty of room in all 3 bedrooms (beds are comfortable), 2 full bathrooms with enough towels for everyone plus extra. All rooms were clean and owner is very accessible.Easy to get anywhere from here. We enjoyed sitting on front porch, very friendly neighborhood, lots of locals will stop to talk. Some of the walking tours come right in front of the house, very cool to experience. Felt safe walking to convenient store/gas station easy few blocks away. Key's Fuel Mart has some good fried chicken and po boys.

Stayed Mar 21, 2026Wonderful location!!Close enough to walk to all the sites or take the street car, yet just far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. I did not realize it was a duplex when booking, but it wasn’t an issue at all.

Stayed Mar 8, 2026Angelica’s Creole Cottage was perfect for my family’s trip. The authentic, shotgun style home is nestled into the heart of the historic Treme neighborhood right across from the historic St. Augustine Church and the Tomb of the Unknown Slave. We were walking distance from so much of what NOLA has to offer; Frenchman St, Bourbon St., Louis Armstrong Park, the African American Museum, and so much more. Less than 2 blocks from a stop on the Rampart St. streetcar and steps away from a lovely local coffee shop and convenience store. The home had all the amenities we needed and Penelope (Penny) was a friendly and gracious host. Five stars, we would definitely stay there again.

Stayed Feb 16, 2026There was a slight hiccup in getting access-- but when i say this place was a dream to stay at, im not joking. We woke to the drums of the two sister blessing across the street for FAT Tuesday. You are across and very close to everything you would want to see on mardi gras.Definitely coming back here for an off season visit to NOLA.

Stayed Feb 12, 2026We loved the neighborhood. An easy walk to the French Quarter but still very quiet. While we were there, the parking lot at the church was under construction so we parked on the street….and didn’t move our vehicle until we left. The house is a traditional shotgun, it’s so cool. We were comfortable and it was perfect for a long weekend. Ms. Penelope has wonderful correspondence.

Stayed Dec 12, 2025This is a charming older home in New Orleans, which is located in a great location. Easy to get around, and the area is nice and quiet - for New Orleans. This is a shotgun home (long and narrow) with a great front porch and a nice backyard patio. The bedrooms are a good size, and each has its own locking door. The living/dining area is not very large, but it accommodated all 6 of us when we wanted to hang out and watch TV or sit and visit. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed. I would suggest adding more silverware, as there were no standard spoons, only soup spoons. Local cats hung out on the porch and in the greenery, enjoying the sunshine. You can walk to local restaurants and bars while soaking up the local culture.

Stayed Nov 17, 2025This historic Creole cottage is in an ideal location to walk to many sites including the French Quarter, Louis Armstrong Park, many great restaurants, and the culturally rich Tremé. Communication with our exceptional host was easy. She was always responsive and helpful. This was my second time staying at the cottage and highly recommend it.

Stayed Jun 21, 2025We wanted a New Orleans style house within walking distance of The French Quarter, Frenchman St. but not in those areas. This Treme house fit us perfectly! We needed 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the living area was comfortable and the front porch and beautiful garden was an extra bonus!

Stayed Mar 21, 2025This was a great place for our vacation this year. The place is clean and comfortable. It's amazingly convenient, with easy walking distance to anywhere within the French Quarter.Since we were going to be there for a whole week, we rented a car so we could travel elsewhere in the city. Parking in front of the residence was never any problem as there was always a spot or two right in front of the cottage. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Feb 20, 2025Property was clean; Penelope was extremely nice and accomodating. 15 min walk to Bourbon St.; about the same to downtown Canal St. Great local restaurants also; did Fatma's Cozy Corner for breakfast, and would recommend Liuzza's by the Track for lunch. Don't feed the neighbor's cats; they like to serenade you at night in return.

Stayed Oct 17, 2024We stayed here 9ct 17th-22nd. The house was beautiful with lots of space for myself & my 3 older children. The neighborhood is quite & has alot of friendly full time residents that we spoke to while sitting on the front porch. We also met an adorable neighborhood cat named Piglet that visited us every day. We sat on the front porch every evening. The owners are very kind & quick to respond if needed! The only thing we needed them for was a smoke detector beeping, everything else was perfect! The location is just a 20 minute walk to anything on the quarter, including to Jackson Square & the St. Louis Cathedral. The nearest Streetcar pickup is less than 5 minutes walk away & there's a convenient store a block away as well. I would & plan to book with them in the future when we visit again!

Stayed Oct 24, 2024Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We're lucky enough to visit during the Treme Fall Festival and had a wonderful time listening to live music while sitting the front porch. The home is an easy walk to the Quarter/Frenchman street, but don't overlook all of great locations in the neighborhood as well. Penny was quick to respond to any questions. Home was clean and had everything we needed for the stay. We look forward to visiting again soon!
