Fun & Cozy Retreat: Nature & Games

The house was dirty. The was hair in the bed sheets. Dust all over even on the walls. Infested with bugs. Poor was so dirty we were not able to use. In fact the while back yard is so badly maintained we did not let out kids outside. BBQ was never cleaned and bathrooms are poorly cleaned. I had to unclog the bathtub on our first day. I will definitely not go back and I took pictures of everything as well if anyone would like mr yo send it

We booked the stay to pick up my daughter from school for Xmas break the hous was nice the yard had garbage blowing around the property owners told us after we got there that the washing machine was not working so we had to us a local laundry mat witch ended up costing us about 35 dollars the heating was pour and hard to control otherwise everything else was fine

Hello, Here’s a few things that have disappointed us in our stay so far that we thought you should know: - Under equipped kitchen as a previous guest mentioned but here are our groups specific details: - not enough utensils for the guests. - not enough small plates for the guests. - no pan for oven. - no paper towel. - no garbage or recycling bags. - we had to go get paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags and dishwasher pods the first day as there were no refill/or none available. - very humid basement and humidity smell throughout the house. - Water leaking from the washing machine. - Moldy Bathroom curtain upstairs. - Leaking shower downstairs. - Ceiling tile falling downstairs in one of the bedroom while we were sleeping . We were also extremely shocked to see that someone came in the house while we were away and felt violated (on day 2 of our stay). We have rented many A*bnb and Vrbo over the years and it has never happened. Or when someone came into the place we rented, they advised us before. So overall, it was suitable for us for its proximity to Presqu’île provincial park for a great beach to visit with the family - but this place needs some TLC and more kitchen and bathroom supplies for us to say it was a « good » stay.

The property was great and Elijah was easy to deal with. The only problem was that the kitchen was under equipped.
