Stayed Dec 19, 2025This is the first and last stay I will ever book with VRBO, Expedia Group and Katherine Ortiz, Host. Host was irresponsible and reckless in regards to my safety. I am recovering from Spinal Cord Surgery, which host was aware. Major safety concern with aggressive pit bull jumping fence into my yard, attacking my dogs with through fence. Host's excuse was she was on vacation and could not knock on the neighbor's door.Burden was placed on me to put up privacy screen around fence and to contact Animal Control multiple times. Her second excuse, only after I suggested putting up a fence, was no vendor coud install a fence in the back until AFTER I left. She told VRBO she was not aware of the dogs, however, she admits she had a video tape of the neighbor's dog attacking my dog. In my inquiry, I stated four dogs and described each dog. She was well aware I had dogs coming with me to the property.Host stated area was quiet. She failed to mention the railroad tracks one block away and the cargo train with a very loud horn coming through day and night.Escalated to VRBO mediation which was totally useless. I I left one day early as soon as I had medical clearance to leave. What should have been 3 weeks of relaxation and recuperation, turned out to be 3 weeks of stress, pain and a nightmarish situation which the Host had total disgard for resolving DURING my stay but would resolve AFTER I left. I cannot and will not recommend.

Stayed Oct 10, 2025Although previous reviews on both this app and another are mostly good. I will warn you that if you book this rental, bring bug spray. The house appears clean, but I saw three different roaches while staying there; two in the front room near the door and one in the master bedroom shower. I couldn't bring myself to shower in there after seeing that one. I told the owner who didn't acknowledge the concern until checkout and she simply said, thanks for letting me know about the roaches, I have contacted our pest control service. The house is a flip that also for sale. The owner also rents out a vehicle that sits in the yard and disappears various times throughout the day and night. House rules are very strict about emptying all garbage from the house to the front bin and threatens an outrageous fee for any garbage left in the home, but when we checked in there was garbage in the back yard. Luckily, I did not bring my dogs. The morning of my checkout, I was greeted by a guy from the gas company telling me that he was there to turn on the gas for the heat to work. He called the owner and she gave me permission to let him in, but she did not acknowledge that this was an inconvenience for me. I was hoping to rebook as I visit the area often, but I will not. I also do not think that the fence is secure enough to bring your pets. I never found the orchard, but there is a community park right next to the house.

Stayed Sep 26, 2025Wow, so much to mention. First, the neighborhood was a bit sketchy. The park next door was open for the homeless. The upkeep of the yard was lacking curb appeal. The house was very clean and maintained, but the new features were hard to figure out without a directional guide. Which is truly needed. We loved the layout, though. Kitchen and bathrooms were beautiful. Towels were old, but we brought our own. There were so many personal items were in the house. Appliances, dishes, utensils, and open food. Please clean those items out! We never learned the usage of the air conditioner. That was not cool...literally! The house could get a 5, but all those automatic sensor lights throughout the house was annoying. We didn't have children or pets, so the park was obsolete for us. The recommendations is a 3 out of 5.Thank youLadyRob

Stayed Aug 8, 2025The house was amazing. Clean and plenty of space for our group. The lawn was not maintained and there isn’t a decent outside seating area if you like to be outside or are a smoker but all in all it was great. We really enjoyed it and the host was very responsive and accommodating.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025Overall great experience the home is more spacious than it looks in the pictures. The park next door literally is 5 ft away and you can watch the kids at the park from the kitchen window. Very nice! Updated appliances, updated washer and dryer, and push button light switches which was pretty cool! We will definitely consider this home in the future!

Stayed Nov 26, 2024The house was very nice and clean and well stocked with essential items. I will say the mattress in all rooms could stand to be replaced. Also there was never a check-in/check-out info email sent, I had to reach out for details. Overall really good stay and when communicating with the owner she was always very nice and responsive.

Stayed Nov 1, 2024House worked perfect for our stay. We were in town to attend birthday celebrations for a family member. The house was five minutes from the event, close to shopping and comfortable for four adults to sleep and get ready. Nice kitchen table to sit and have coffee. Will definitely stay here again when traveling with family for family events:

Stayed Sep 5, 2024The house is quiet, comfortable and very livable with lots of needed, modern and useful amenities. However, not a five due to the following: bath towels need an upgrade, and some added hand towels as well; there are no lamps in the entire house, nor are there places to put them, as, other than the nice 6 seat dining area table and two night stands on either side of the master bedroom bed, there are no other tables. Lamps and tables are most needed in the bedrooms, the living room and perhaps as a way to have some dimmer lighting as an option to the super bright light in the dining room, (also turning off the motion detector that is way too bright and comes on automatically all night each time you step out of either of the two adjacent bedrooms after dark, especially hard on the eyes if you're just getting up to use the bathroom).the living room needs a coffee table or maybe foldable tv tables for a place to put plates, drinks, snacks, etc. These should be easy fixes and would get that extra star.

Stayed Jun 8, 2024We have a kids and grandkids in the area and have been looking for a homey place to stay when visiting. The large dining table allowed for family dining. The park next door was perfect to keep the little ones entertained. We will definitely stay again.
