Can't beat ocean views! Great neighborhood for walking or walking with your pet. The adorable beach rental was clean and had everything we needed. Easy to locate and close to wineries in Paso Robles or shopping in cute beach towns. And there are lots of great restaurants near by. You won't be disappointed!

Great view of the bay. The kitchen was really good and well supplied with everything you would need and more. The dinning table looks out to the ocean. A nice size outside deck with table and umbrella, and bbq.

The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen essentials. The deck had great views of Morro rock. It was nice to sit out and bbq on the gas grill. The beds were comfortable with nice sheets. Overall was a pleasant week we spent there, would recommend. Owner very nice.

Clean and well stocked, the location was just perfect! Cindy is a great host. We had a view and found the apartment quiet and very comfortable. The washer and dryer was a bonus too.Easy access to local restaurants and shopping and also close to CA 1 for a drive up the Pacific Coast Highway. We’d stay here again!

The house is nice, as described. We could not find bedding for the pull out bed. I would recommend asking more questions when it says Pet friendly. There is a large fine (in addition to the pet deposit) for leaving the dog alone or allowing the dog on the furniture. Was not expecting that.

This was our second time staying here and each time the home was clean and very well appointed.Check in was seamless, and Cindy (host) is lovely. We took our lab each time and the front patio is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunsets.The dog beach is very close, but we chose to not go this time.For those traveling with dogs, there are many restaurants all along that part of the coast that accommodate pups.Highly recommend this property for anyone getting away from the central valley heat or for those meandering down the coastline. Will definitely return and hopefully sooner that the last time we were there.

A bright, clean, and well-appointed cottage with easy access to the beach and not far from all the Paso Robles wineries. The owner is friendly and easy to contact if you have any questions or issues (we didn’t).In short, it was everything we hoped for.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was as described, had all the amenities, was well maintained and clean. The views are awesome! You can see the morro rock from the deck! Check-in process was smooth. Location is great although, There is some highway 1 noise during the day if you are on the deck but not enough to be a bother. Overall would recommend!

Place and badic amenities were OK. The vrbo information fails to mention that it is right on the highway. This makes small deck virtually unusable during day because of noise. The touted view is OK with the intrusion of highway and adjacent houses. Site information fails to mention that one has to cross the highway to get to beach directly from the property. It was difficult opening any windows for fresh air due in part to the highway and to the adjacent interior courtyard which appeared to be used by either the host and family or other tenants.While generally satifactory, in my book, it is not worth the price. There are many extraordinary places to stay in the area.

Oh my…what was not to like! Beautiful place. Comfortable. Well appointed kitchen, we cooked several meals. Cindy was super easy to work with and accommodating. It is accurate that you can be standing on the beach in less than 5 minutes. The views were wonderful. Great location between heading up to Paso Robles for the wine and a half hour from the airport and downtown SLO. Magnificent! Will stay again for certain!!!

This is by far one of the nicest homes we’ve ever stayed in! It’s beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, well equipped, dog friendly, has exceptional views and is centrally located to everything we love about the area. We had an amazing time at Cindy’s house. She had thought of everything, and the house was comfortable and had everything we needed for the week we were there. We enjoyed many meals on the deck and saw whales and otters with the binoculars we brought. The kitchen was well stocked. The decor is perfect for the beach, and the bed was comfortable. She was so welcoming and helpful. We will be back!

Third time we stayed at Cindy’s. Perfect size to include friends. The place is well stocked and ready to enjoy the minute we arrive. Every comfort we need. Love the front patio to whale watch and bbq. We saw so many this year. Location is perfect to journey north or south to so many nearby attractions. Cindy is a great host. We stayed for 24 days and still didn’t get to see everything we wanted to. So we will be back next year. Wi-Fi works great and a tv in every room is appreciated. Dog friendly.

We have stayed at this property four times over the last three years. We love Cayucos, and this is our go-to rental because it is always clean and comfortable, well stocked and nicely decorated, and our host Cindy is welcoming and easy to communicate with.

Second time here. The house is clean, the neighborhood quiet and peaceful. The beach is across the highway, a short walk. The hills are behind the house with hiking trails.The kitchen has all the amenities, there is a warm outdoor shower for humans and pets coming back from the beach. Would definitely come back!

This property is just gorgeous. It really is 3 minutes to the steps to the beach and a two minute drive to a beach without steps. The whole area is super friendly for people and especially pets. Miles of leash-free dog beach. Plus an off-leash grassy dog park nearby. The pictures in the listing are 100% accurate. The rental has everything you need. Look in every cabinet before you go shopping for supplies. All the staples are there. Even coffee and filters. Cindy has thought of everything and put thoughtful little labels around. The beds are comfortable, and the linens are luxurious. We went to the beach 10 out of 12 days, sometimes twice. Mornings are foggy this time of year but most days afternoons are sunny. Be sure to bring warm sweaters. Cindy fixed any little problem immediately. She is so accommodating. We enjoyed driving up Big Sur, exploring little towns around, which are also dog and pedestrian friendly. We recommend Hidden Kitchen Cafe and the Brown Butter Cookie Company. Lots of restaurants nearby. Fortunately, we got enough steps in so didn’t get too fat.

Welcome to an oceanfront oasis in beautiful Cayucos, CA...The owner, is very warm & welcoming and her thoughtful touches throughout this beachy cottage makes you feel very pampered & looked after...Cindy even had a bottle of wine waiting for us!Do you like to cook? The pantry is well stocked from cooking oils to a nice array of spices...all you need are the essentials! We have stayed at Cindy’s place for the past five years and absolutely love it every year! It’s super clean, wonderful location, and Cindy is always so accommodating. We are excited to come back next year for year six - it is truly our happy place for our family.

The property is very nice, beautifully remodeled, clean and just as described. The owner provided everything we could ever need. It's a little noisy on the front porch due to the proximity to the highway, however it was not unexpected and the close proximity to the beach and the beautiful view makes up for it 100%. I would definitely recommend the property.

My husband and I had a great time with our 2 dogs. The home was across from the leash-free dog beach, and they had so much fun. We would definitely book the home again.

This is a beautiful cottage with upgrades galore. We were very surprised to find comfortable living area, fully equipped kitchen with new upgrades plus two full bathrooms with access from the hallway. A full size washer and dryer is inside. The front deck offered up great ocean views!! It was perfect for us seniors and it would be wonderful for a family as well. The bedrooms each has a slider to the back patio with fire pit. Hostess was available via text and extremely nice to us! Thank you Cindy

The place was great. Cindy is a good communicator who made everything easy. This is just across the highway from the best dog beach (leash-free) in CA so our dog had a fabulous time, as did we.

Your beach house was lovely. Very well equipped with a beautiful view. We were happy to bring our dog. We had some trouble understanding the 3 controls for the television but we weren’t really there to watch tv. We love the house and very comfortable! Thank you!

Charming and exceptionally clean. We had one full day of rain but managed to get out and still enjoy. I spent nearly 20 years in Cayucos 50 years ago and I’ve been back many many times since but never stayed in Cayucos. Now I will. The owner was congenial, communicative, and very honest. We had no surprises. It was just perfect.

One couple, 2 dogs and a beautiful getaway. The house was perfect for us. And our host was the best. My only hope is we will be able to come sooner than later.

We wanted to escape the Texas summer and choose Cindy's Beach cottage in Cayucos. It was a perfect choice. The unit was just perfect for us, bright, clean, fully equipped with everything and without a doubt the very best rental we have ever had and we have had many. We loved the location, though the highway noise took a bit getting use to when on the deck. The view of Morro Rock and Cayucos totally made up for it. It was a short walk or drive to the dog friendly beach and we walked it almost every morning. This location was just perfect for traveling to Cambria, San Simeon, Paso, SLO, Avila Beach and points south. We never lacked for anything to do. We will definitely go back to visit Cindy and Greg's Shore Thing, we loved it! Thank you for having us for the month.
