Stayed Dec 4, 2025Such an amazing house with a breathtaking view. The perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring this beautiful part of Tasmania. Could not recommend this place enough. Only a stones throw from the national park and everything you could need. Can’t wait to come back.

Stayed Jul 4, 2025Very overpriced for what you get.Heat pump made very loud buzzing noise making it virtually unusable and wood heater put out zero heat, so very cold stay.Dishwasher doesn't clean so all crockery and cutlery comes out greasy. Lounges extremely uncomfortable.

Stayed Sep 19, 2023Great house with several bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs and one bedroom upstairs with ensuite, which suited us very well. Obviously a wonderful balcony and living space. We came in just before there were fires in the area and a big storm overnight which knocked out the power. This wasn't restored to the whole area for almost 24 hours and everything in the house was electric (cooktop and all) which was a little challenging with a toddler. Also we had brought food in due to limited grocery options in the area -some of our food had to be thrown out and we couldn't buy more. The management only supply 1 towel per person - you can go on a long drive to pick up another towel from their office... even with prior request several days before, they didn't just give us any more towels which again with a toddler is pretty inconvenient. Excellent proximity to national park entrance.

Stayed Sep 24, 2021We celebrated my wife's 50th birthday here with a small group of family. Great views (with a slight snow flurry) of the Hazards. Beach within 100 metres and a fantastic open space with ample deck to relax. Can recommend highly.

Stayed Aug 16, 2019We would like to thank you for our stay at The beach House. The house is well appointed ,clean and inviting with every thing we could possibly require for our holiday. The lay out of the upstairs area and balcony takes full advantage of the view of the hazards directly opposite. Our fur baby was well catered for with the secure private yard and deck. the house exceeded our expectations. We definitely will stay again but for a longer period of time . Thank you - from Lisa.
