Fresno retreat with pool

The location was perfect for our family. There were some issues with dust in the corners in the living room and lack of dimmers on any light as well as NO lighting in the garage. We made do, but some simple fixes would make this house outstanding. It is run a bit like dormitory. The host was responsive but needs attention as the pavers shortcut to the front door are not useable and without a light in the garage it was difficult at first for access. The dining room should be where the foosball game is located and the current dining room used as a den. Cobwebs in front room corner, needs another arm chair in front room and a true couch not a fold out bed that sags. Without dimmers a stand light in the front room is essential.

Nice relaxing place to stay. Fun family stay

The outside of the property and the neighborhood was quite nice, as well as the central location. The layout and space of the house was very good for the amount of people we had. But the inside was not up to the standards of every other VRBO property that we have stayed at. The furniture was dirty, as well as having torn upholstery. The carpet was stained and dirty, the air vents were completely covered in dust, the furnishings were early Goodwill at best, the baseboards were filthy, not to mention dirty walls and cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Did they even clean it before we arrived? There was a pair of mens underwear hanging in the closet! The pool was cloudy and the patio furniture was substandard. The host did say the pool people had come the day before and the water was fine. ( Being pool owners we knew this was not the case).The most disappointing feature was that I mentioned we were unhappy ( we left a day early with no compensation) and we did not receive response back until the following day just before we checked out. The host asked what were our concerns, which I did identify, but did not receive an acknowledgement or response. No attempt was made to rectify the situation. We took pictures of all the issues which were too numerous to mention. I should mention that the bathrooms and kitchen were clean, which was a welcomed surprise , although one of the bathrooms had broken louvered window covers over the toilet, allowing peepers to peep!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very accommodating for a family of 4 and a family of 5.
