Freshly Remodeled Private Beach home, walk to beach and shops - sleeps 8

Host did a great job explaining the house. She left great instructions and also places to see and eat. Would definitely rent this home in the future. Location is beyond amazing!

The entire experience renting and staying at this great house was a pleasure! Our host was amazing, and communicated with me to ensure we were totally satisfied. The house was great! Amazing location a block from the beach, and about 400 ft from a cute coffee shop! We spent the Thanksgiving holiday visiting family in the area and will definitely return in the future!

Our host was great, very clearly communicating about check in procedures as well as local things to do/places to eat. House was very clean, roomy and comfortable. The outdoor spaces were perfect.

Great place to stay for a beach trip or a day trip to Legoland. The provided beach toys, chairs, towels, etc were fantastic. Communicating with the owner was extremely easy, she was very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing house just a block from the beach in Del Mar. Great outdoor space and hottub. Home is clean, comfortable and appears newly remodeled. The owner is super helpful and responsive. She went out of her way to make sure that we had everything that we needed. We had a wonderful stay. We will definitely come back!

Home had everything. Very modern up to date interior. 2 blocks to nicest beach in San Diego county. Communication is clear and timely. Plenty of comfortable seating for adults to sit around and converse or have meals together.

The location of the house to the beach is super convenient with an easy walk for small children.Although the house is on the smaller side it handles a small family well.The back yard is lovely with nice shade for little ones to play.The hostess was super responsive to any request made.We would definitely want to stay here again.

Classic beach house; recently renovated. All modern appliances; well stocked; great spa; nice neighborhood; lots of TVs! And our host Stephanie was always available and very accommodating. We hope to return soon!

We had a wonderful stay! Great home with every amenity we needed for young kids, including a pack n play. Great location, just a couple blocks from the beach in one of the best Del Mar neighborhoods, and house has an outdoor shower to rinse off sand. Owner was very friendly, helpful, and quick to communicate. Home is one house away from the train track, though surprisingly quiet and quick (trains pass by in a couple seconds), this was not at all a noise issue for us, even with young kids. We had a great stay and plan to rent this home again when we’re back in town.

Updated home less than 2 blocks from the beach. We had a great time with 2 families. Hot tub was great after beach days. Kitchen has everything you need. 80s arcade games were a blast for all. Would return again if in Del Mar in the future!

We’ve stayed at a lot of VRBO’s … but nothing has ever compared to this property. The house was immaculate, well stocked with all linens, sundries, etc. and very well maintained - inside and out! The list of amenities just goes on and on! The beach gear was thorough and included everything one could possibly want to take to the beach. Stephanie was attentive and approachable and quick to offer suggestions/recommendations. We loved this house and will come back over and over!

My family and a few friends had a wonderful stay at the Beach House. It is in a great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and bars. Some excellent amenities include a hot tub, BBQ, outdoor dining table, outdoor shower, and a garage full of beach toys. The owner was very attentive to our needs.

Chipped bowls Stained old looking towels The VRBO description says Guest room has a queen bed with new posturepedic pillow top mattress -It is a far cry from the truth. The Pillow top is a stained foam piece and the new mattress has a huge blood stain. We didn't inspect the master bedroom's mattress-because we slept in there and were afraid of what we might find. Filthy trashed wood floors-our children's socks were black Broken window blinds in the master bath-we were unable to use that bathroom. Anyone could see in the house. The shower handle in the hall bathroom falls off. Hot tub cover is torn. We did not use the hot tub. One light is burned out in the hall bathroom. The tile in the hall bathroom shower has several cracks. The wood deck out back needs to be refinished. The toys in the garage were filthy, basketball was flat. The outdoor lights come on and stay on until 11 pm. They are so bright we could not block the light in the master bedroom where all of us slept. The slat was coming off under one of the top bunk beds. We did not use that room. Corners of the wicker chair in the front room was chipped. The listing says parking for 4 cars. No way! The listing says outdoor fridge-it is only available to the homeowner.
