This house was very nicely decorated and clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable. Nice view of the river, but was not able to walk out on the pier to get to the water. The pitch on the first section of the dock was so steep, there’s no way that you could walk on it without breaking your neck. Also, the back deck with the patio furniture had not been tidied up in what looked like months. So I would say, the inside was excellent and the outside was disappointing. The idea of renting a place on the water is to be able to enjoy it but unfortunately was not able to do that.
Nicely decorated home. It was cold while we were there and the furnace does not heat the basement rooms well at all. More blanket options would be nice Also many trash bags were not removed from outside the door from the previous guests and raccoons got in it both nights we were there, which we felt obligated to clean up.
This was a super sweet property. The back deck was so nice looking out on the water with plenty of seating for our group of 6. Had fun playing fooseball in the basement and watching you-tube television. We used this as a stop boating from Louisville to Cincinnati. Only issue was we were not able to use the dock behind the house as intended. But used the dock next door thanks to super nice neighbors. This is a wonderful property overall! And the host was very easy to work with.
