If you need additional parking, the Town of Breckenridge offers paid overnight options in two convenient locations: 1) south of town at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena, and 2) north of town at the Airport Road satellite lot, which also accommodates RVs and trailers.

Colorado Traction Law:
From September through May 31, the Colorado Traction Law is in effect for all drivers traveling on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero as well as US-285 to Breckenridge . This law mandates that vehicles must be equipped with either four-wheel or all-wheel drive and snow-rated or mud + snow tires. Alternatively, vehicles with two-wheel drive must have winter tires, chains, or other traction devices. Ensuring your vehicle is properly equipped is essential for safe winter driving in Colorado. If you’re renting a car, be sure to confirm with your rental company that your vehicle meets these requirements.

Please be aware that during the winter months, roads and driveways are likely to be snow-covered or icy, making four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) essential for safe travel. We are unable to offer refunds for vehicles that get stuck or require towing, and unfortunately, we cannot assist with towing or vehicle recovery. Additionally, some properties may require 4WD or AWD even during non-winter months due to uneven terrain and dirt roads.     We loved the house and had a lovely time. However, we were disappointed in the theater room. My two adult sons, who are tech savvy, said that if they could have connected their own Apple subscriptions to the house, it would have worked. The instructions were incorrect and there were too many remotes. Otherwise, great.

    We loved our stay! The home is beautiful and the location is very convenient. The kitchen and family room were spacious and very nicely finished. The home offered space for our extended family of grandparents and two families with kids to spread out, but also to spend time together in the family room, hot tub, pool room, movie room, and even sledding outside. Would highly recommend!

    Fantastic property! The only issue was that one of the bedrooms listed in the description was not accurate but that was a very small issue. The views are incredible and it’s close to town. I would defiantly stay there again.
