Freda's Place

Very comfortable and well equipped. Nice area…attractive house.

We had a great time at Freda's place. The owners were very responsive and made sure we had what we needed. Negatives: some dirty dishes found in the cupboard, no dishwasher, the grill had not been cleaned by the previous renters and the grill ran out of propane. The owners came right over the same day with a new tank of propane and said they would talk to the cleaner regarding the dirty dishes.

Exceptionally clean and quaint 2-bedroom get-away with all the comforts of home. It’s within 10 minute drive from many Amish Country shopping and dining options. Across from a local store/diner/deli.

Freida’s Place was very spacious and well equipped except for a dish drying rack. We loved the deck with the grill and patio chairs. The trucks and cars going by were a little noisier than we expected but we enjoyed hearing the clip clop of the horses as they passed! We would highly recommend Freda’s Place.

Great weekend away in Trail OH. Have driven 515 several times in my many visits to Amish country but first time at Freda's Place. Great stay. Enjoyed hearing clacking of buggies going by in the morning.

This was the second time we stayed at Freda's Place. It is very comfortable and clean. We enjoy the location because it is central to everything we do.

our host David was friendly and responded immediately to any questions. Loved the house and yard. It snowed one night and the driveway was cleaned of snow early the next morning. Location is perfect - ten minutes from almost everything. And you can't beat it with Troyers right across the street! We had a wonderful stay.

It was such a great stay. Location was wonderful. Super clean. The Host was helpful with suggestions of places to go/things to see! We would stay there again if in the area! Felt like home away from home.

We loved the house, very pretty and clean. We had everything we needed. It's close to everything. It was like home away from home.

We enjoyed our stay and will be back again. Everything was great and amenities greatly appreciated. The only suggestion I can make is that we had our 105 yr old mother with us and this time of year gets cool at night. We were unable to raise the temp above 71 (which is fine for most of us) but when older person staying, maybe up to 73 would work much better.

We had a nice stay. It was a lovely cottage in a peaceful location. Everything was clean and in working condition.Wi-Fi was very reliable and the air conditioner worked wonderfully.

We would definitely use again, if in the area.

The house was SOOO clean and nice! It was easy to find, close to all of our favorite places (only 5 minutes from Rebecca's Bistro!), had the cutest little coffee bar, had all the things you would need for laundry and dishes. David kept us updated on everything leading up to the trip and was very quick in his responses. We will DEFINITELY be booking again!

The place is comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was supplied.The location was close to Walnut Creek.The outdoor patio was enjoyable.There was some traffic noise from Rte. 515.

Listing and pictures were accurate. Communication with the owner was very easy and response time was excellent. Property is fairly priced, had everything we needed, and convenient to the areas we were there to visit. Very pleased with our stay.

It was very enjoyable as always and and I can't get enough of the peaceful surroundings. The kitchen is lovely as is the rest of the house.

Freda's place is perfect for a stay in amish country. Its close to many attractions and yet rural enough to enjoy the quiet evenings. The house is very clean, comfortable, and cozy. We would definitely stay again without giving it a second thought.

Cozy and quiet and a great getaway from the city noise!

Far enough on the outside of the tourist spots but close enough that everything is only 10 - 20 minutes away. Quiet and secluded. Very clean and well stocked kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple of meals. Really enjoyed our weekend!

What a great home to stay in while you visit Amish country. Good location, clean, nicest owners who have provided everything you will need for your stay. We saw deer, watched a house wren build her nest in the basket that decorated our front door. We highly recommend staying here and hope to stay here again in the future.

This property is nice and clean, in a peaceful setting. There is road noise, but it subsides. I even slept through a little storm. The beds are comfortable, as is the furniture. The host was very responsive. We were only there one night, but the laundry facilities look great.

It's a quiet setting just 3 miles outside of Walnut Creek . well actually in Trail, Ohio.. Nice accommodations, everything you needed for a quiet get away. Like I said 3 miles from Der Dutchman Restaurant, who would ask for anything more.

My friend and I were very pleased with Freda's Place. It was very clean, comfortable and relaxing. We loved the coffee bar too. We would highly recommend this lovely place to any who enjoy Amish country and need the perfect get-away place. We plan to return again.

Four of us stayed at this property (2 couples) and we really liked the roomy layout. The place is very clean and had shower amenities. The shower was nice and warm. Additionally the place has a Keurig and traditional coffee pot, both with supplies. It’s a short drive to many of the areas attractions and easy to get to. We would definitely stay again!

We did a day escape in Burlin and enjoyed a lively night at Freda's place. It was cozy, clean and comfortable.

My husband and I had a very peaceful stay to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary and attend our friends wedding at Winesburg farm. Everything we could need for the weekend was provided, and everything was very clean and cozy! Would come back if ever in the area again! Only thoughts would be to add a full length mirror somewhere… :) thanks for having us!

Super easy self check-in. Great amenities and we loved the air fryer and coffee bar. Very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Super clean Fun that it’s across from the original trail bologna. The smell from there was a little off putting, but you’re in the country..we loved it! Great start

What a perfect weekend staying at Freda's Place! It's super clean, very roomy, and has everything you need for a stay in Amish Country. The bed was so comfortable, the sheets soft, and the pillows perfect! They even have sound machines in both rooms, which I was thankful for since we accidentally left ours at home. We've stayed in many hotels and rentals and this was absolutely the best sleep I've had away from home. I loved the privacy of having our own place for the weekend outside of town, especially with a toddler (no neighbors to worry about). We also enjoyed the company of a friendly cat outside and went out several times during the evening to love on her.

Such a great place to stay! Very clean, well maintained. Nice and cozy and quiet, a great place to relax after a day of shopping. Will most definitely stay again..Thanks for a wonderful stay!!
