Foxtrot Farm | Peaceful Pet-friendly Escape

Very quiet & peaceful. We saw deer and mother fox with her cubs.

Foxtrot Cottage is a beautiful home. Also, the scenery around the home is awesome. It is a very quiet location. However, a couple of changes would help immensely. The microwave is non-functional. Both my wife and I spent about 15 minutes each trying to figure out the microwave. We finally decided it was not working. Also, having an icemaker in the freezer would be nice. Wasn't sure if they wanted us using the TV in the living area or not. The DISH receiver was not plugged in when we arrived. I plugged it in and was able to get Netflix (our account) and some programs on the DISH network. Some instructions on how to access the TV would have been very helpful. I would have given the home a 5 if it wasn't for these issues. Since the home did not have a microwave, I would probably not stay here again because of that reason. You don't realize how much you depend on a microwave until you don't have one.

Perfect country cottage for a weekend getaway! Well stocked with everything we needed and extremely clean, which is very important to me! We would definitely stay here again!

Great house off the beaten path.

We had a great stay at Foxtrot Cottage. We had a visit from a beautiful fox our first evening while sitting on the porch. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The beauty and quiet was amazing. It’s centrally located to so many things.

Enjoyed your quiet comfortable cottage. Country acerage with wildlife provided a peaceful retreat from the busy city rush. Will certainly be a consideration for future Fredericksburg visits.

This stone house out not too far in the country south of Fredericksburg was again a perfect place to stay. Spacious, comfortable, immaculate, nice window views, and stylishly furnished appropriately for Texas. HEB is on the way into town, and the house is easy to find, even at night. Couldn't have asked for more.

Foxtrot Farm is a perfect getaway for a couple or small family. Much better than those mini houses. You are removed from the hustle of downtown Fredricksburg yet just a short 5-10 minute drive. The exterior is an old farmhouse (which appealed to us) but the interior is upgarded with the latest amenities. Nice porches to kick back, enjoy wildlife, and listen to the wind. Owners very responsive, had no issues at all.
